Regressor! Narita Taishin headcanons
(A/N…this was maybe about 1.7k words i counted…it took me 2 rounds of proofreading and about 3 hours of writing ack!!!!…but it’s all worth it hehe)

- I see Taishin as a baby/toddler regressor! Maybe something within the 1-3 range? It is not a set range but just majorly of the time she falls into that
- When regressed, Taishin’s less of an outdoor person…she’s too insecure about her regression to be able to act so freely childish around total strangers.
- Her CGs are usually either Biwa Hayahide or Winning Ticket, if not Super Creek!
- Taishin is VERY picky over who watches after her, and would refuse to be looked after for, or to regress if it isn’t around any of those 3.
- Whoever would be her carer at the time really depends on situation and time…but she has a lotta...there will usually be at least one of them who’s free to look after her!
- Primarily Taishin’s CG would probably be Hayahide? She has the vibe of being the most practical option, being someone she not only trusts a lot, but is also relatively responsible, the factors are perfect…
- Creek would probably be the next option, if the BNW can’t be there for her at the time of her regression. Being roommates and all makes it much easier, especially if she ends up regressing at night.
- The reason why Creek is not the first option is that, she could go a little overboard with the affection, and it would end up being too much for the poor baby. She means well, but the tiny Taishin might end up seeing her intense coddling as a tease, and get upset over it.
- AAAAND!!! Ticket being the last option for a CG…she’s too weepy, if Taishin cries, she’s gonna be twinning with her, and there will now be two crying babies /silly (i do see Ticket as a flip, she kinda does both as much…but she IS emotionally regardless if she is regressed or not)
- I also think that Ticket would easily panic if something happens to the poor baby, or get too nervous to handle it properly…she would make a good CG, but mostly only when Hayahide’s helping out too! They usually go hand in hand as her caregiving duo whenever possible
- Whenever Taishin’s regressed to an age on the slightly older end of her range, she’d play some simple games! Probably those baby games…if you get what i mean. Maybe the virtual pets stuff too.
- On the younger end of her regression, she’d not really do much! Just curled up watching cartoons or listening to music.
- Really. She IS an ipad kid you guys gotta trust me on this one…its written all over her face…
- Whenever Taishin’s regressed, she doesn’t really go on her phone much, especially if Hayahide or Creek is in charge. She would just get tossed a tablet instead cause its better for her eyes to be looking at a big screen!!
- Regressed Taishin’s more…soft and chill? she’s easier to ease in to anything.
- She is also more emotionally vulnerable (or less emotionally constipated). Unlike the tough facade she tries to put on when she’s big, she kind of lets her emotions take the wheel on her.
- With that said! Babyre Taishin’s a crier, but a rather silent one…it wouldn't necessarily cause too much noise, as she does attempt to suppress it on certain occasions she feels negatively about herself, and didn’t want to seem as a “burden” to be noticed and helped.
- If any of her caregivers noticed her silent sobs, so silent it was only a few occasional sniffles and hics. They would pick her up and cradle her, telling her its okay to just let it all out. Next thing you know, she’s clutching them tight and sobbing even harder than before…
- Despite being more easy on her little self, Taishin does still easily get self conscious about her regression, and might even try to fight the feeling at times. She is afraid of having anyone see through her weakest link and treating her cruelly, or not taking her as seriously.
- Her caregivers would see right through that, especially Hayahide. She would not directly confront Taishin about it (or force her) when it happens, but she always has tricks up her sleeve prepared to get Taishin to slip into her tinier headspace.
- Generally, Hayahide is probably the most clever caregiver of hers, and knows her like a book that’s read over a thousand times. She sees right through her pretty easily most of the time, and knows how to help her under any circumstance.
- Taishin loves all her CGs equally in their own special way! She does not outwardly express it so, she finds comfort in each of their ways of showing care. (she’d be too embarrassed to admit it)
- Adding on to the concept of Taishin having the most compatible dynamic with Hiyahide (i feel so). She’s able to adapt accordingly to Taishin’s mood/age and tend to her needs accordingly. Creek acts the most maternal out of her 3 CGs, which is the best suitor for the younger end of her regression. Ticket’s care would fit her older range better, as they’d end up playing games or doing other fun activities together!
- Taishin likes being picked up, but only if being asked first! Since she has a relatively small/light build, so she’d see the approach as a threat to her authority if unprompted. It can send her into freeze mode if she’s already feeling horrible, and the poor baby would go awkwardly quiet and unresponsive to accepting any form of care. ONLY!!! Pick her up if she reaches her arms out or holds onto you first.
- Apart from that, Taishin does likes getting uppies, due her having a vast height difference as compared to her CGs. Being carryable makes her feel so SO much tinier! And helps to indulge her fully in the baby regression experience.
- Simillarly, she also likes sitting on her carer’s laps! It gets her more physical contact time, and makes it much easier for them to tend to her needs.
- She gets sleepy easily while regressed, a warm bottle of milk is easy enough to knock her out cold, and she requires more energy to do even simple tasks when tiny!! When held in her caregiver’s arms for a little too long…she drifts off
- Taishin’s a padded regressor…It helps her to kinda shut her brain off and not need to be overly paranoid of feeling any form of absentmindedness while in a small headspace.
- Unsurprisingly, she was FAR from being open to the idea of padded regression initially. It all just seemed too crazy to her, too undignified to require such a ‘juvenile’ tool in her regression.
- Taishin did ‘reluctantly’ cave in to the idea eventually, due to the fact that she is either too prone to spacing out, if not catching strays with nightmares every now and then. (meaning that, she was cool with the idea much earlier than she finally admitted to it). It surely caused a few VERY unpleasant accidents. She experiences the aftermath of guilt for having to trouble her caregivers to clean up after her messes, since she usually puts up quite a fuss whenever encountered with accidents.
- To the surprise of everyone, Taishin has her CGs looking after most of her needs, as it helps her be distracted enough and busily engaged in her regression. In that case, she would not be left alone in her thoughts for too long at some point to start feeling self-concious, which will cause her to slip out of her headspace.
- EVERYTHING!!! Is settled by them…whether it be feeding or changing her, or giving her a bath….shes too tiny to do it all by herself..
- Taishin surely had some doubts about letting herself ‘stoop this low’ on her regression. It is that she was frequently cared for with much kindness and patience by her caregivers under all circumstances, that she eventually let her guard down naturally. She’s grown to come to terms that no matter how dependent her little self is, that her caregivers will not see her big self as any less, and would continue to treat her with respect regardless big or small….unconditional love for her!
- Taishin loves LOVES receiving little kisses! Usually on her forehead or cheek, and it causes her to all shy and giggly about it…though she only ever lets Hayahide and Ticket kiss her. (NOT romantic in this scenario! But i do ship BNW as a polycule in a non-regression context, hence the selectiveness with her kisses)
- Generally, Taishin does like physical affection so long as she lets it happen. She is just more reserved about it when big, but oh so touch starved when tiny!!! That baby would like to be held gently and have her hair ruffled while snuggled right beside…she needs the extra attention..
- This tiny creature also has a bad habit of sucking on her thumb, or teething on things not intended for such purpose. Her caregivers would have to pop a paci into her mouth and pray it doesn’t fall out and her little teefers get hold of other things.
- Taishin does not wear too much in her headspace…usually just rocking with a shirt and hoodie on, and stays pantless/padded for most of the bit if she’s indoors. Wearing a hoodie plays a somewhat big factor in maintaining her headspace! With how all that fabric engulfs her in its warmth, it feels like a nice cozy little hug.
- SHE IS THE CUDDLE CULPRIT EVER. Little Taishin would be all over whoever’s taking care of her, and would cling onto them before being able to doze off peacefully. It does bring her a sheer amount of embarrassment if she were to wake up big, as it is not something she does as often non-regressed (despite still liking it)
- Taishin’s love language for her tiny self depends…if on the older side, words of affirmation do help the most, but if shes too teeny tiny to process anything, actions would speak louder than words.
-Taishin is bad at outwardly expressing her gratitude for her caregivers, but when she is big, i would like to imagine that she occasionally gets them gifts or writes thank you cards to show her appreciation for their care. She’d leave the gift somewhere without saying much, and waits for it to be found.
