AgeRe CoD:MW Headcannons (These are my personal headcannons. I would love to hear how yours differ!)
Ghost has 0 emotional regulation skills due to often having to hide his emotions during his childhood, and now has to learn how to not completely blow up at any inconvinence as an adult. Usually he's able to keep it together, but every so often things become too much and he ends up genuinely throwing a tantrum. He has at least taught himself to hold himself together until he's in an area that is appropriate to crash out (His or Price's room, the gym, outside in the middle of nowhere).
Ghost's regression is involentary and often due to intense emotions that he is unable to handle. Feeling himself regress usually exaserbates his declining emotional state, which in turn exaserbates slipping into litterspace, which often results in a crash of suddenly being a year old at most while having the urge to start screaming and crying.
Price rarely ever regresses, finding more comfort in taking care of others due to never having the chance to bare his own children (He refused to deal with the idea that there may be a day where the mother to his children would have to explain why daddy is never coming home again). But, there has been two or three times when he felt fuzzy and dazed with nestolgia. If he ever feels like this, he prefers to handle it himself, sitting in his room alone to watch old cartoons or nap. He let Gaz take care of him exactly once, and quickly figured out that he didn't like being taken care of (Nothing that Gaz did, he assured repeatedly. He just doesn't like being baby talked and coddled).
Soap will sometimes pet regress as a dog. He LOVES to roughhouse and play, sometimes needing to just run around on all fours until he is too exhausted to move. This is also apparent if he is simply regressed as a kid. He loves to run and play (Price has had to remind him more than once that the Gym is NOT a safe playground).
Gaz struggles to regress, getting self consious and awkward very easily. He prefers to caregive instead due to this, and sometimes AgeDreams whenever he can (Which usually consists of sitting and organising toys. He doesn't really remember how to play anymore, so he relies on organising his toys over and over again in different ways).
Soap likes to just collect random toys he finds laying in the mud, or getting kids meals at certain fast-food joints, or candies/cereals with toys inside purely for the sake of getting a toy. He tends to find attraction towards the toys most would deem as "ugly".
Soap likes to play in the mud, but Gaz likes to find worms and bugs in the mud, and show them off while saying a random fun fact about said bug. Either way, Price is waiting until their both outside of headspace enough to use the mop and clean up the bootprints that are now along the halls.
