I started installing an LED backlight and new caps in my Game Gear a while back while visiting @poprewind but didn't get to finish at the time. Finally got back to it recently and things are looking good (neither video nor sound have worked for years). The only issue is that it only works for a minute or two before fading out again. I'm assuming it's a poor connection someplace but I need to take a closer look. Either way, progress!
