Globally, sustainable designers are doing the hard work of sourcing sustainable fabrics and materials of many types, embracing technology and sometimes creating something out of what looks to be nothing. In addition to all that, working to produce clothing ethically, considering the health of the environment and the garment workers first when making decisions. . Buy less and buy better. Support designers who are committed to sustainability and ethical business practices. This is how we can help to bring the fashion industry (which is among the top 5 polluters of the planet) back into a better balance. It’s fine to go to thrift shops and swap clothing. But pay attention to designers working ethically and do your best to support us. Small changes can make a difference. .
