Here is my shoutout to those that make the glam ⭐️ possible for my premiere and General everyday life —Wardrobe 👗 by @deborahlindquist who created all of my American looks for this film. She is an eco clothing designer who created this peace silk sari halter and circle skirt. Peace Silk means non-violent silk breeding and harvesting. It allows the completion of the metamorphosis of the silkworm to the butterfly, so that no animal has to suffer or die for fashion. Peace Silk (Non-Violent Silk, Ahimsa Silk) is manufactured under the most stringent social and environmental standard in India . So this particular outfit meant so much to me to honor the film. Hair and makeup 💄 by @makeupbymartinii who knows how to serve up the #ecoglam my clutch 👛 is by @friendsthatrhyme using vintage repurposed materials that miraculously matched this outfit with no one talking to each other about it and my 👠 shoes are by @ninewest and are a vintage pair so I don’t think you will find them anywhere but this photo. 😃 Photos by @nelson.shen _____________________________________ So, my actual birthday is August 21, but I celebrate every day of my birthday month. I treat myself to something each day (even if it just a delicious peach) or I meet up with someone I haven’t seen in a long time or do something I always I wanted to do. Life is a gift.
