i regret taking Sonic's leg but i do think it was very funny of me to insult Shadow specifically by saying "aw are you big mad i cut your boyfriend's leg off?" when he hunted me down afterwards

like. they weren't together. they were absolutely rivals in my canon. he found Sonic incredibly annoying. they still occasionally beat the shit out of each other at the time.

it was kind of a miracle Shadow didn't just obliterate my ass for that one. god, could you imagine if those had been my last words? what a way to go out.

my Silver was a little guy, definitely shorter and lighter than in canon. he was a toothpick of a kid who could be knocked over by a stiff enough breeze, but you'd never guess that just looking at him because he was also really fluffy. my friend described him as a "sickly Victorian child ass" and that's exactly what he was.

he'd had it really rough. he grew up pretty much completely alone in an apocalyptic timeline and rarely had enough food to eat, which was why he was smaller. Iblis was constantly blowing shit up, so his hearing was shot — if i had to guess, he was pushing 70% hearing loss, and could really only rely on lip reading because he never learned to sign.

every time some bug swept through the Restoration HQ, he caught it even if he was vaccinated (and you better believe we kept him vaccinated, holy hell.) he had asthma from growing up surrounded by smoke and flames 24/7, so he used his telekinesis to get around more often than not.

because of all of this, people underestimated him. our enemies did, for sure, and that was often the last mistake they ever made. watching him throw cars at people with his mind never got old.

i'm glad i got to save his life a few times during the war. after i joined the Restoration permanently, i got to know him better. he could be very excitable and sociable, and i was... not, so he could be a little much for me to be around. he was a good kid though. i wish i remembered more about him!

I've just been sitting around missing Kit and wanting to apologize for being a jerkwad but now I suddenly find out that I couldn't be there to protect him when he needed me most. you know, when Tangle stopped me from putting Mimic down that first time, i didn't have the heart to tell her he wouldn't have been the first mobian i killed. people really think Infinite was the only one to work for Eggman? he was just the only one they found out about. we — the original Diamond Cutters — had taken the rest out before they had a chance to be a problem for anyone else.

there was already blood on my hands by that point. i don't know if i ever told her that, though. i hope she never found out. i don't know if she would have stayed with me.
