Concept Art Ideas for Sonic the Hedgehog. For my web-comic. I wanted to design a different type of look for Sonic. I wanted to give him something closer to an anime-like appeal while also having a Western look to it. The designs are not fully official. Just sketches.
His personality is something I would call, a "quiet-cool". He's serious but also playful at the same time. He doesn't mind joking around with his enemies. But he also let his actions do the talking. I rather not have him talk or brag as much. Giving him a much loner feel. He sometimes can be an "asshole" without trying to be. He's just rather alone. But doesn't mind his friends at times.
The web-comic will be a retelling reboot of the Sonic games from 2002 to 2005. The first arc will begin with the Sonic Advance 2 story, and I'll work my way up to Sonic Rush. The comics will be hand drawn and done traditionally with just pencil, pens and ink. I'm not too familiar with digital art aside of some things. So, I rather just stick to what I know. lmao.
