Sonny-butt is feeling better already. After a few hours of hiding under the bed and only coming out for 10 min at a time to scout the room he is being much braver now and just took his pain meds like a pro (hes not even acting like he needs them). Rat has been keeping him company through his recovery. Literally like a child with a favorite toy, takes it everywhere with him (example-he came up to sit next to me on bed... so now Rat is sitting on my knee lmao) Love this little guy and so thankful that if he had to get stuck like he did he did so while we were all home to rescue him. (Literally all of us, Gibby's mom and even Ryan the dog came to help).

8/29/17 Holy shit. Worst moment ever. We just avoided a horrible emergency on Sonny's part. He got his claw/finger stuck in window frame really badly and high up so he was practically hanging by it. He was screaming and twisting his paw horribly and I had to hold him to keep him from making it worse and he kept screaming and Gibby finally was able to wedge the frame open and we freed him but of course we were so sure he'd broken something that we took him to vet immediately and luckily he just has a small cut and probably a sprang but no broken bones. And hes walking on it okay for now. So relieved... all three of us were absolutely terrified it was awful... and I say we avoided a horrible emergency because I just cant imagine the damage that might have been done by his panicked fit of trying to escape if we weren't here to help immediately.. But now he is hiding under bed and has had pain meds + antibiotic for the cut (which isn't bad thankfully, just being cautious since he needs to use that paw in the little box). He is also willing to come play at edge of under the bed and dragged his favorite toy rat that came from his aunt Nadina under with him. So now we're all recovering from that terrifying incident. Oh and I taped the shit out of that window as pictured. The end.
