I know now that Zeke saved Ruby’s life and I haven’t properly thanked him. I mean, I knew there was more to him than I knew because…well, Sigyn is in love with him. She would not love just some ordinary guy. I’ve been trying to figure out what it is that makes it awkward for me to talk to Zeke on any deep level. I mean, he has a mind that can keep up with mine, so it’s not that.

I guess he’s too old to feel like a son-type person, but too young for me to think of him as an adult, and I hate myself for feeling that way. It bugged me when people treated me like a kid…..even when I was seven. Someone with an exceptional mental aptitude just fits in better with adults. And Asgardians, apparently, if you see how he is with Sigyn…and how I am with Thor. 

I will try to make more of an effort.

Legolas, it's a gift. If you lose it, it can be found again. And don't sell yourself short- you'll understand it just fine with a bit of practice. C'mon, you've been learning for centuries, you'll be able to learn to use it too. It's just another skill, like making a fire.

*takes it warily, then turns it over in his hands* Are you certain? I will not know how to work this even if it is explained a hundred times, and it would perhaps be of better use to someone who will not - ah -

Her window has been reinforced. I sorta did smash it once but replaced it without her noticing. *cocks head* If you coudn't remember which window was hers, wouldn't climbing the ivy be pointless?

...ah. Still, it is impolite to cast stones at someone's window.

*turns faintly pink* I had intended to look inside each home. One of them was hers, I knew that much - and I could recognize the interior easily enough.

*Legolas gives Zeke a glance that suggests he would rather attempt to climb the ivy on a wet and windy day than throw rocks at someone’s window.* I would not be able to recall which window was hers. Also, I am unsure that I would be able to avoid breaking the glass.

Universes were tricky things. This guy, for instance. Zeke Stark-Barton. Take that however you chose, but he was in her universe now. He wasn't an Avenger, he wasn't CEO of Tony's company, but he was still undeniably here.

Now what to do with him?
