Sonya Deville cursed under her breath as she (unsuccessfully) tried to navigate in her wheelchair. She hated it. Hated it. But, Sonya mused to herself, that it was better than having Paige dead.

“Sonya, is everything okay?” Paige said, walking in. Sonya looked up, smiling.

“Hey, yeah. I’m good,” Sonya lied. Paige walked over to her, kneeling down in front of her.

“I know you’re Batwoman,” she said. Sonya froze.

“What are you talking about?” She said slowly.

“You are Batwoman, I know that,” Paige said.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Sonya lied.

“Sonya, you become paralyzed and Barwoman suddenly disappears? Too much of a coincidence. I know you are her. And I want to help you and whoever is Batman, please,” Paige begged. Sonya stared at her before sighing.

“I....I’ll talk to him about it,” she said.

Okay, but if the whole Otis and Mandy storyline means Fire & Desire breaks up, how about this means Sonya will finally get pushed and the absolute best way to do this is to make Paige Sonya’s manager! A mini Absolution reunion!

“How’s Austin?” Sonya asked. Jake smiled at the mention of his boyfriend.

“Good.....though I gotta say, it’s simultaneously annoying and amusing that so many people find him hot. Amusing because, duh, of course he’s hot. Annoying because he’s my boyfriend,” Jake laughed. Sonya laughed at that.

“I get that feeling. So many people find Paige hot too. It’s like.....yeah of course she’s hot. But also, I don’t share,” she agreed. Jake smiled and bumped fists with her.
