The Baggie
The drumming of Vira’s metal-clad fingers echoed through the belly of Alphaeus and Alec’s cabin, her body leaning heavily on the door frame as she peered inside. The door had been locked but that hadn’t taken her long to pick, in fact she felt compelled to buy him better locks. Though, from what she heard about the couple’s history with doors, perhaps that would be a waste of money. Pushing off of the wall she made her way into the room and lowered herself to her belly when she reached the bedside. Slipping her hand under the bed she smoothed her hand over the floorboards, pushing any clothing that had been stuffed under it out of the way. When her fingers caught on a nail she paused, grabbing hold and counting as she twisted it four times. A click could be heard and she pulled the nail upward causing the wood to lift and then swivel to the side. Blindly her hand sought to grab the velvety pouch that lay within; her fingers had bumped a few other items until finally they closed around the object she sought. Setting it outside of the trap compartment Vira closed and locked the hidden door and snatched the bag from beneath the bed. Getting to her feet she bounced the bag in her hand a few times, scanning the room and using her feet to shift any clothing she had touched back to where she recalled it had been left. Once outside and the door locked again she rest her back against it, glowing green eyes searching the rafters above her head before calling out a name. “Sonzip?” It didn’t take long for the imp to materialize on the boards above, grey-white eyes blinking owlishly at her. The bag was tossed upward and the little demon’s claws quickly snatched out to catch it, hugging the velvet close to his chest. “Ya know what ta do wi’ it?” He nodded, an impish grunt escaping him before his body and package within his arms vanished in a spark of fel magic. Vira’s expression remained passive even after he was gone, footfalls carrying her toward the exit of the ship’s belly. “Good boy.”
