I think it’s hilarious that Song Jae Jung thinks Yeon Joo has to be dead/out of commission in order to get Soo Bong and her father to actively participate in the story and (in the case of Seung Moo) redeem themselves. XD 

She’s such a capable character. You know she’d solve this mess in like a minute if she was alive and out in the real world.

I am happy that Yeon Joo has Soo Bong because she can talk to him. And while he might not fully understand what she went through, he knows what happened. He actually hesitates to tell her about the romantic ending. I wouldn’t be surprised if he suggested that it be slightly vague.
