Frances Litman, Green Party of Canada candidate for Esquimalt Saanich Sooke will be hosting a series of “community connectors”, and the public is invited!
Bring friends and join with us to meet Frances, learn about some of the important issues and share your views and ideas as we kick off the campaign. Light refreshments provided.
Focusing on local food, fishing, and First Nations, the T’Souke nation has a plan to become self-reliant in energy waves as well.
Speaker Andrew Moore is the Solar Community Program Manager for T’Souke First Nation and has coordinated a suite of options for producing electricity and hot water for T’Souke. The T’Souke project is a model of energy autonomy for other BC First Nations communities.

It was well worth the visit, and I will be sure to check out more of the Green Party’s “Community Connectors” events in the future.
