a merry start to a fond farewell
Yesterday marked my last day in Artisan-I. I can’t believe this day finally come. It feels like yesterday I handed my resignation letter to my boss and seems like yesterday I started counting day to this day. I am gonna miss coming to office every morning expecting the expected and unexpected to happen. Though I whine a lot, but it was a great and amazing experience to work there. The people are amazingly kind and supportive no matter you are new or senior everyone treat everyone equally.
I am gonna miss the 2 designers, Ywins and Nicole, who seems like sisters from different blood to me. They are just amazingly kind and generous and sincere in everything they do. They always there when I need them. To guide, to help and to cheer me up. I found that they always try their best to make happy. We really are like sisters. I never met someone so sincere like them and am very grateful to meet them here in Artisan. Also am grateful to have amazing pair of bosses and seniors who always there to listen to my concern and guide me.
Am gonna miss walking every morning to office. Walk in the array of apartments and shops. The best mamak shop nearby my hous. The Nasi Lemak stall I hate to walk every morning because there are a bunch of jobless uncle teasing me everytime I walk there. and some of the everyday road user who also I see regularly and tease me whenever they got the chance to do so. and am ignore em all. LOL. But there are some road users who are very kind and offer me a ride in the morning and I did accept it because they seems kind. There’s one kakak who live in the same apartment building who always give me a ride whenever she bumps into me. We already became friends but I forgot her name actually. Hahahaha. I just remember which state she came from and which level she live. so I saved her number as Kakak Level 12 on my phone
It’s always amazed me how in a span of one year I have met so many amazing people and a lot of exciting thing had happen to me. I realized that I changed a lot too. Working and surrounded by great people make me more relaxed and easier to communicate with people. I also feel more comfortable with expressing myself rather than being sooooo stiff like before.
I realised after I finished my study, every year is a new adventure to me. Last year, 2017, I had move to 3 different places and learn to be independent. From internship in M&C Saatchi to my first ever job in CD Corporate Reports and then Artisan-I as Project Manager, it was a total turning point to me. and this year, 2018, I learn that there are still good people out there that you can call friends. I have been surrounded my mostly positive people and I can say that this year have been the most positive in terms of friendship and it does affect my friendship and how I react with other people too.
I am gonna leave Selangor/KL this Saturday and stay in Ipoh for one month before starting out a new journey in Penang in February 2019. Let’s enjoy the remaining of 2018 !
