In 2023 we HAVE to bring noses back in fashion.
Wide noses. Large nostrils. Hooked noses. Long noses. "roman" noses. Noses with big round tips. Noses with bumps in them. Noses with high bridges.
Like much respect to everyone who has a cute little button/ski jump nose.
I just think it's bullshit that if we don't look like we come from whoville there's a certain expectation that we should spend 15 minutes meticulously shading and contouring with creams and powders, trying to defy light and shadow itself so we can all have the same fucking nose.
#and i like make up.#i like contouring too.#i have a complicated relationship with my nose. i straight up refuse to contour anymore.#becauae its not good for your mental health to stare at every aspect of your face#and point out its flaws#like. contouring. if you do it well is amazing.#it can totally change a person's face. just look at cosplayers and drag queens!#its an art no doubt. a skill.#that doesnt mean it should be a nit al every day thing.#that feeling when you are aware that the bwauty industry keeps women subjected but you still like#to put colorful and sparkly things on your face#i watched a video called 'how I contour to make my face look 'nice''#and after an entire life of being accused of having reating birch face and looking angry.#when im literally just sitting there.#like. no. you like my face bitchy or not at all.#(also its almost always men who say that. and women who have obvious problems with other women)#sooooo........
