i can’t get over how romantic season 8 of supernatural is. what do you mean it starts with dean thinking he is hallucinating cas, when in actuality it’s cas, in brief moments of respite of being brainwashed, just. visiting dean. wanting to be near him. and dean knowing in his deepest guts that something is wrong, but praying to cas regardless. changed his entire memory because he couldn’t cope with cas willingly not coming with him. and somewhere in the middle a mind controlled cas beats the hell out of dean and he breaks fully free after dean tells cas he needs him (he loves him). and it ends with them meeting at a bar where a cupid shoots their love arrow at two butch, manly men.

thinking about how dean believed in basically every supernatural creature except angels until he was confronted with irrefutable proof of them and how that angel knew him down to his very soul and became his best friend, and, depending on your reading, the love of his life

the thing about the crypt scene that drives me crazy how cas did not have to cup dean’s face like that when healing him. could’ve just done his standard two finger touch, but no. he gently cradled dean’s face, and dean let him despite the pain cas had just caused him. insane.

thinking about dean telling cas never to change when all heaven did in his millennia’s long existence was trying to forcibly change him oh my precious angel if thursday

PERSONALLY i think cas was in love with dean like the whole time but didn’t realize until season 9 when he was human
