Natsu didn't know what to do; normally everyone was always talking about how himself and Lucy were going to get together, not Juvia and Gray. He couldn’t quite pick the reason for the tightening of his chest, nor the way his fingers curled into a fist, not yet anyway. Natsu did know though, that the wrong assumption of whom he and Gray loved was easier to deal with when he was the centre of that attention. As he looked at the way Gray shrugged off Erza and Lucy’s joking, he could imagine that maybe Gray felt the same.

Jealousy, that was it: “Why can’t they do the same for me and Gray?” I could deal with that.

I’m not sure if this was the right way to interpret the prompt, but I hope I did okay! :) It did get a little angsty though, and for that I apologise! Thank you for the prompt my dear :)
