Um, anyway, Darcy kind of sort of got into some coffee I had on my table. She thought it was chocolate milk, which I guess I can see-- but she just chugged it, she chugged it Dash I swear she’s gonna be one of those beer bong people-- ignore that. I didn’t say that. Anyway, she’s fine. For the most part. We built a fort to burn some energy and she’s a little jittery. We’ve watched Zootopia twice and are probably going to do it again and you’re more than welcome to join us in the fort where I’ll probably bribe you so that you forgive me and let her come over again. Unless you don’t check your voicemail, cause then? Absolved.”

Kassia Greyson was Nate’s first and only wife. She wasn’t born in the village, and when she and her family first moved there after a fire destroyed their old home, they would often steal glances with each other, unsure if either was trustworthy, but feeling attracted to the other all the same. Kassia was quiet in a way that was similar to Nate, and sometimes their best interactions were when they didn’t say anything at all, sitting in comfortable silence with each other and communicating through expressions and body language alone. Nate knew fairly quickly that Kassia was who he wanted, easily coming to converse with her by their spot at the lake or letting her see him after a bad night at home. She was as strategic as he was, always kept her wits about her in the face of potential danger, and her kind soul wasn’t to be mistaken for a weak one. She was a place of solace in a way that no one besides his mother and siblings ever had been. It took a lot of convincing and game playing to finally get Grey’s reluctant acceptance to marry her, rather than a list of other women he would’ve benefitted more from had his oldest gone into a union with them, but eventually Nate succeeded and they were able to wed. They built a trusting relationship off open communication and plenty of love, always honest with each other about their thoughts and feelings. It was through such discussion that, after the werewolf curse swept through Nate’s entire family, they decided it was best to split ways, just until he knew what was happening, and if he could control it. They would often send each other letters after that, writing about all the things they needed to be updated on. About how much they missed each other. When illness finally came for her, Nate was able to see her one last time on her death bed, aged in ways that he hadn’t. They were luckier than most, and they were able to part ways peacefully before her gods took her, but there are days when he still misses her and wonders what it would be like to hear her voice once more. He can only hope she wouldn’t be disappointed in the man he is today.

Thyri Greyson was Nate’s first and only daughter. She was always quick-footed, running around everywhere in their village, whether it was to go make flower crowns with Aunt Elena, play with Thor and Matthias, or give plenty of hugs to Aunt Sophia. Her imagination was always strong, weaving stories about her day to Nate when they could get away from everyone for a minute. The two were very close, and Nate was often very protective of her, seeing as she was the only child he had, and the only one he and Kassia thought they would have. They often fished together to pass the time, and it was a skill she used later in life when her and Nate had to be separated, a way to always keep her father close even when they weren’t together. After Kassia passed, Nate did his best to come around more, having gained more control over the werewolf curse, and not wanting to miss a day more with his daughter like he had with her mother. Thyri followed in her parents footsteps and married someone she came to love dearly, having met him when she’d gone out fishing one day. They had four children, and began what is known today as the Hastings line. Through the years, there have been times when it’s felt like Thyri never left him, when he can see her face or hear her laugh in one of his descendants. It’s painful to see them pass every lifetime after he’s come to love them, but it brings him a small sense of peace to know that some of her still lives on to this day. He may never die, but at least the memory of her never will, either.

Top five end of the world ships?

“If the world was ending, these two would want to be with each other? Let’s see. Not in any order, but I think these pairs would fit. You can decide which are the Jyn Ersos and which are the Cassian Andors. 

Sophia and Vince. They found their way to each other a thousand years later, there’s no doubt they’d want to be with each other. 

Sparrow and Ronnie. Didn’t Sparrow say she’d miss Ronnie if she were gone? And that’s just on a normal day. 

Jonathan and Emma. The guy waited a long time to fall in love the way I think he’s falling now. It’s cute. You know. The way that other people are cute, but if it were me it would be a lot to handle. 

Jake and Ria. I don’t think there’s any going back once you want to kiss someone you know has multiple personalities.
