Two other techniques I tried and was also inspired by some Artists, was painting and scratch photography. I used my fingers to smudge the paint directly onto photographs of my grandparents. I found this inspiring due to the distorted look it gave off, which is a common theme due to the loss of memory and loss of self with this syndrome.

The other technique I used was scratch photography, I directly carved into the photographs, following the lines on the faces. This emphasised the wrinkles and delicacy of the face.
