Although Adrian already had a few... benefactors that made sure his needs were well and accounted for, he still liked to stop by Phoebe’s bakeshop and help out. It was the least he could do after she pretty much helped him stay alive when he had first gotten here. He threw the mist over him as he entered through the front door, the customers’ eyes just barely glazing over as he passed by unnoticed. He found a little girl sitting on one of the boxes, and wondered if it was bring-your-kid-to-work day or something. He tucked at one of her pigtails lightly as he passed, letting the illusion drop to give her fright. “Hey maggot,” he said with a grin as he took one of the croissants and had a bite.
