zuko and azula are great showings of how separating from an abuser/manipulator/narcissistic family isn’t always a linear path and how the need to be loved and validated sometimes go over morals. they’re incredibly complex and nuanced like most characters in the show. that being said, y’all acting like they weren’t actively like...destroying towns and hurting the people around them is weird. and glorifying them while putting down other nuanced characters like jet and hama is weird.
