Okay so @sopocoloco sent me this image and said it reminded them of Ernesto so... This happened. I hope you guys like it!

The tinkering on the strings and the chords, the movements, she had know that that was not a skill for her from the moment she had first seen someone play. “I sang and I danced but I never played, no,” She shook her hands as if Miguel was forcibly trying to put the guitar in them. “Héctor had me attempt it once, never again. For that is for all our sakes”

Thinking back on it, he wasn’t so sure it was possible at first. “You know, chamaco, I wasn’t always able to split myself up so easy. It takes practice, you know?              Luisa held some of her dress in her hands as she felt her feet move like it never has before; twirling about with the rhythm of the music. It’s been so long since she’s done any sort of dancing, having married Enrique as soon as they graduated; she had to stop. Of course, as a baby, she would hum and dance with Miguel in her arms in secret away from the family. Moving so her sandals made the smooth patting on the floor, she never thought it’d be in her lifetime that the Rivera’s would change such a long view on music.

             But Miguel did it, with his passion, to make his abuelita open her eyes to the beauty and joy music can cause. Stopping her twirl, she placed a hand under his chin, like she would always do when he was down, but now they both were laughing and enjoying the melody. “And you are my handsome, little man.” She pressed a kiss to her son’s forehead, before she smiled and stood up straight again, “Did you know, Miguel; I used to dance in recitals when I was a little girl?” @sopocoloco
