Super cool yarn winder at Knit-O-Matic on Bathurst!
Usually all of my romanticized feelings toward fall dwindle in the awkward time between when all the leaves have fallen, and the first snowfall. The trees are bare, the sky and ground are grey, and apple picking and hiking and wearing cable knit sweaters outside aren't as fun in the cold drizzle. But this year, I feel different! Maybe I renewed my optimism and happiness towards November when I brought out all of my winter knits. Today I'm wearing my Treads fingerless gloves, knit with an amazingly soft and warm alpaca-camel mix, and my Inspira cowl knit from Classic Elite Yarn's Liberty wool. Keep on enjoying fall time!
Making a whole lot of colourful fall accessories. It's Christmas in July y'all
You know, I always thought knitting fingerless mittens would quickly become too redundant to enjoy until I casted on. It’s an addiction now. There are just too many colour combinations and colourwork patterns in this world to become bored.
All of these fingerless mittens and other winter accessories are now 15% off on my etsy shop - check it out :)
