TASK 005 → “ You may weather the storm, but will you weather the aftermath?”

The Great Eclipse that has passed through Moon Island did not depart without stirring up trouble for the residents of the town. The aftermath and consequences of the hallucinations has left several hospitalized and many shaken by the things they have seen. Several weeks have now passed and things are seemingly going back to normal, but perhaps for some it is not as easy to ignore what had happened during that darkened week of the Eclipse. How has your character come out of this last event? What, if anything, has happened to them? How are they doing now?

This task is mandatory and is a chance for you to recollect your headspace with regard to where your character(s) are currently in the game. This task can be posted as detailed headcanons of what happened to them during the Eclipse and how they are now– or you can write a self-para to include all the above mentioned. Tasks posted by players will be incorporated into the plot line as canon. This is to compensate for the plots involving taken characters that are now open. MEME WEEK → “What's behind the smoke and glass?.”

We come here with a different task this time. While our following big event’s still in the future, we’ve decided to come up with something that can be fun and also a good way to develop and to get to know your characters while also exploring the way they act around the other characters in the roleplay. Every day through the course of this week, we’ll share a meme that you can post in your character’s blog so players can send you asks. Some of them can also be answered as a starter and some of them would be a simple ask response. (All of our memes will be posted in our inspo blog).

While none of our tasks are mandatory, since our meme week will start today (July 24th) and end Sunday (July 30th), unlike our usual tasks that have no deadlines, we’d love if everyone could be part of it! TASK 003 → “The hardest thing about the road not taken is that you never know where it might have led.”

Decisions. They are what shapes a person into who they become, whether it be decisions made, or decisions not made. All are met with consequence of action and inaction. But in the world of supernatural, and a world of conflict and rising violence, one decision could mean life and death for another. It is these decisions that everyone must live with, for there is never a rewind button, never a go back option. But what if there was? How different would your muses’ life be if they could go back and change one thing-one decision-about their past? This task can be written as a self-para, or in journal form.

None of our tasks are mandatory, but it can be a way of developing your character and getting to know a little bit more about them, and it’s also entertaining! Another important information is that we won’t create any deadlines in these tasks. Therefore, new players or players with second/third characters are able to complete these tasks later. TASK 002 → “You learned to run from what you feel, and that's why you have nightmares.”

Everyone has fears, regrets, guilt– something that keeps them up at night. The small voice that whispers in the daylight, but growls and hisses in the darkness. Dreams– this is when you are the weakest, when your guard is lowered and the demons leer their ugly heads out to play. These recurring nightmares are something of another kind, so vivid that it leaves your body in cold sweat and ragged breath. What kind of nightmares does your character have? This task can be written as a self-para, or in journal form.

TASK 001 → “Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent”

Just a little something get your creativity flowing before the Opening. Music is always a great way to understand what happens inside of other’s mind, so your first task is to create a playlist for your character. It can be one that represents who they are or one that represents their current life and outlook or a playlist of songs they usually play. This playlist can be made via any media platform (spotify, 8tracks, youtube, etc.).
