Surprise Visit | Sorin + Jimin (Ghost)
The nightlife was something Jimin had taken a particular liking to. It wasn't the way the lights shone, although they did give off a feel that the night would be magical and they were far more attractive to the mind's eye than they should have been. Nor was it the busy bustling of the streets, or how they seemed to magically grow into a sea of bodies. No, that part he could do without, being that he never particularly enjoyed people brushing past him, or bumping shoulders, without the decency to apologize. Not that he was innocent of this, never once looking back or even giving a second thought when he had bumped shoulders with strangers, but then - his mind was selective, choosing when to notice others, when to show concern.
No, it wasn't any of those things that drew him in like moth to a flame. It was the unnecessarily loud music, the way that people seemed to forget their differences - if only for a night - to let themselves go and find enjoyment in dancing with each other, or some stranger they had just met. Not to forget the drinks, and already he had been nearing his sixth one. He could feel a light buzz, and knew he would have to slow down, at some point. Saluting the bartender, Jimin couldn't refrain from curling his lips into a wicked grin, eyes gleaming with mirth as he turned to lose himself in the crowd.
He was careful with the drinks, screwdrivers, as he made his way back to where he had left his boyfriend. Holding them above his head, he took care to dodge the bodies as he made his way back to the booth. Setting the glasses down, he hadn't realized that the booth he shared with his lover was empty. "Here, sorry it took so long, but the line is getting crazy!" he all but screamed, wanting to make sure that Sorin could hear him above the music.
Hearing no reply coming from his significant other, Jimin's gaze lifted from the table, after setting the drinks down, and turned to find that the booth was empty. Feeling the slight twisting of his stomach, he pushed the worried feeling aside, instead telling himself that Sorin had probably made his way to the bathroom. A thought that caused him to laugh, with the way they had been throwing the drinks back. Forcing himself to agree with that thought, he took a seat and told himself that he would wait a few moments, before going to seek out his Little Red.
