July 9th, 2017 through July 17th, 2017
Thunderstorms on Moon Island are said to be the most notorious in the Northeast. July is known to bring summer rain with claps of thunder and exquisite displays of lightning. It is a time for nurturing the Earth, to quench the thirst of crops and plants from the summer heat. This year, the forecast has already predicted that one of the worst thunderstorms in the last decade will tear its way through Moon Island. This comes in close proximity of the full moon where danger is already heightened from its supernatural effects. Residents have been put on storm watch and encouraged to stock up on emergency kits, food, and candles should a blackout occur while the storm travels through the town.
The full moon is upon us again and this foreboding thunderstorm will put the residents of Moon Island on high alert. However, not everyone has the sensibility (or luck, it seems) to make it to the safety of cover. In fact, some may find themselves stuck with (unwanted) company for what could be hours when the electricity is cut on the Island. The full moon is set to be on July 9th per the Moon calendar.
