hellooooo bestie you’re lucky you caught me while i’m getting my hair dyed cause otherwise i probably wouldn’t have answered this. HOWEVER, i saw some posts about this and it did kind of bug me so i’m gonna address it.

when Mick’s getting into the ice bath, he’s already wet, so it’s safe to assume he’s coming directly from the hot tub. idk if any of you have been to the spa and spent time in the hot cold circuit, but my body gets red in places all the time. + he’s just spent two days in cars that are bumping all over the place, in seats that aren’t made to fit him, so for him to be red in places in his back would make sense.

to me it really just looks like he’s gotten out of the hot tub cause that’s what my body does too 🤷‍♀️ doesn’t ressemble scratches in any way to me. the lines are following where his muscles are, so probably a combination of the lighting and the heat and the work in my personal opinion.

oh god I have no idea tbh. my goal with this one if to have it entirely plotted out before I start writing so I can a) do a lot more with foreshadowing and themes and arcs etc and also b) I don't end up doing the thing I did with song where I completely change the plot trajectory twice and make myself crazy. unfortunately, between that goal and the fact that I've been p burnt out and in a slump recently I have yet to finish my outline and start drafting so it's probs gonna be awhile 🙃
