YES! HARD SAME!! He knows it would absolutely not be anything close to the same with any other actor. What they managed to create is RARE, everyone wants to recreate it, but as we can see from other couples both on ED and off, it's not as simple as writing Character A and Character B get together. Raging against Kylux as the Predictable White Guy Ship when all their canon interaction was 2 minutes screen time, and proposing we ship Kylo/Finn instead, because they "felt a bond" during that village massacre scene. What was that, four seconds canon interaction? Yeah, and the time at the end of the movie where they exchanged two lines and had a very brief duel. That's canon shipping goldmine there. I am all into shipping younger Kylo and Confused Stormtrooper FN, why not. They can have past, but it's fanon made, not canon, and that's why fanfic is there, to give us what the creators didn't. Or I can ship redeemed Ben and Finn, if he ever forgives him that murder attempt. But telling me shipping it is better cos it's racially diverse is not going to make me ship it, sorry guys.
