MY DEBUT EP "CLEANCORE" IS OUT NOW!!

this project is my baby and my dream come true in many ways... in the decade of me making music this is the first coherent, official, mixed and mastered release that sees the light of day - not forgotten or shelved (I had a horrible habit of doing so in the past)

it's not perfect, not even close, but its' imperfections are giving it a special place in my heart - it's a first step, a first breath, a taste of something even bigger - making and releasing this EP made me realize that I don't have to ever consider giving up again

the fact that it's out alive and breathing is all that matters to me now! to be able to show my inner world to you is a huge privilege... I cried and I cringed and I judgingly stared at myself in the mirror but I wrote these songs from the bottom of my heart, so I hope they will make you feel at least some movement in yours <3

ANNOUNCEMENT: my debut EP 'CLEANCORE' is on it's way!

it's going to hit streaming platforms on the 22nd of October, so get pre-saving!

the concept of this EP is based on my forever favorite aesthetic of cleancore: squeaky-clean bathrooms, the smell of chlorine in an empty indoor pool, rubber ducks in bathtubs and half-empty bottles of bleach all create a weird, cozy sense of 'home' and 'heaven' to me, and i wanted to see if i can merge that imagery with my own introspective themes and questions of self, spirituality, mental health, love, and more!

since i first started creating music back in 2013, i've always had the dream of making something that is undeniably 'me', something that can show how my inner world sounds, something that can show how my own being would sound if it was a song... and i think i've succeeded!

Vibes: Frutiger aero, mysterious, shiny, future

ME AND MARYLAND- very shiny song with nice layered and altered vocals and a good snare drum rhythm. It sort of reminds me of frutiger aero in a way which I love.

DOG’S LIFE- ok so this one is nice. I like odd electronic beats that seem to jut out and the mysterious sounding vocals in the beginning.

NOT SELF-STRATEGY- the smooth vocals and crunchy instrumentals actually go very well together. It’s very easy to get lost in the rhythm. Overall a satisfying sound.

YOUR BLOODLINE ENDS WITH ME- I’ve noticed in stacy’s songs she makes a good use of drums, including this one. This song is haunting, and the drums just add to that effect in a way, making me think of a slow march.

5- in the beginning, stacy layers speaking and singing which I love. The first minute or so is chill, and after that the song evokes driving through a large futuristic city. I LOVE when songs have 2+ parts that sound somewhat (or completely) different. There was some silence toward the end and I thought the song had ended. Then it started to fade in again, which was a nice surprise.
