Clovis wasn’t exactly fond of being the Inquisitor; of course, he had always enjoyed being the center of attention, but he had always hated being a noble and had always been more interested in his training and in flirting than be the SERIOUS person his family had always wanted him to be. It felt weird, to have people who worked for him. He preferred to consider everyone as his comrades, as his friends. When he heard that he was going to have another advisor, this time specialized in arcane and magic, he had been slightly annoyed; he hated being treated as more important than everyone else. He just hoped they were going to be cute, even if he knew that was a stupid thought. After a formal introduction, once Josephine was gone, Clovis approached the other.
“Just so you know...” He was offering her his usual GENUINE smile; he wanted her to feel comfortable, and didn’t want her to think that she was at his service either. “I appreciate having you around and I’m sure our partnership will be useful, but if you ever want to go back with your clan or to go back anywhere else, you can. You’re not trapped here.”
