Heading up to NH today to get my stuff from that house. I am almost free!

#i'm gonna try and spin by the used book store and pick up tolkien and other good books if I have space and time and money #well i have money so it'll just be a matter of space and time #and the place being open lol #i'm gonna see if I can set up a deal with them where if a tolkien book comes in to the used section of the store they send me a pic and a #price and i say whether or not I'll take it and if I do then I send them money for the book and shipping and then they send me the book #or send me multiple books at once bc that could get expensive just doing one book #TOLK Man talks #sort of fandom

So other than two books that were physically too big to fit in the boxes I have, all of my Tolkien books are finally at my dad’s. This means of my nearly 700 books I’ve brought over a bit over 1/7!

Working on my mystery and kids books sections next since they’re in a bigger bookshelf that I can get out of my mom’s house without having to dismantle it. Other than my non-fiction section, everything else (horror, science fiction, fantasy, media-tie-ins) is in one of the two bookshelves that have to be taken apart to leave the basement.

I’m hoping that I can time everything perfectly so the largest of my furniture pieces are set to come over once the basement is finished, but I’m not holding my breath. Everything down there is still a mess and my dad is going in for surgery on the 12th. I’ve go four days off in a row starting the 13th. Hopefully I can use those days to clear up my dad’s basement instead of bringing things from my mom’s basement. Or like at least split the time.
