i don't think enough emphasis is being put on the fact that these children went through trauma, that the teens went through trauma.
even if what some of them endured seems more minor than others, THEY HAVE ALL GONE THROUGH A SITUATION WHICH HAS RESULTED IN TRAUMA.
the mind flayer, the demogorgon, the russians, etc. everything in all three season's culmanates into trauma that everyone as gone through!
they are going to react differently, they are going to lash out, or be void of emotion/ feeling, they are not going to react the way that people who haven't been through what they have, react. if you would've done something differently, great! power to you! but these people have been through something you can't begin to comprehend, and when i see hate / negativity towards them, i will not hesitate to fight you.
