For some odd reason, trying to make a health bar of 60x10 using the fx image class was causing the image to stay at it's default size of 10 x 10. Not sure why that is, but 58 x 8 worked. Flashpunk keeps finding new ways to disappoint me
I finally got some inspiration for my wave menu GUI. Hopefully it'll look as good as I have in my mind. In the mean time, I've been working on this really short minigame that I'll post after I'm done putting on the juice. I really want to improve myself as an artist as well. I need to look up how to digitally ink, and how to draw water.
Even though i’m a man of few secrets feel free to ask anything? In other news, Ruby’s base attack is almost done. I think i’ll make a placeholder for her soldiers and work on pink and green first. Although i think want to get a new build out so they might all be squares while i sort shit out.
Server woes
So I try booting my Dad's old hunk a junk PC and loading Ubuntu Server on it. It freezes mid installation and now it won't boot from CD.. so I check the bios and the PC temp was 41 degrees Celsius. That's totally normal right? RIGHT?
Hopefully I can get a couple of cheap fans to get it some ventilation. Also can't get it to boot from USB for some reason.
Progress
I've been alive and working, just not really much progress that's visible, since I'm working out the kinks in my battle system.
Also got my dad's old PC, so I'm gonna turn into a server today if I can, then get back to finishing up the battle system and eventually getting to battle animations.
I'm planning on using union server edition, but if anyone knows a better alternative please let me know.
