honestly though, a lot of my self-confidence comes from people having faith in me and believing good things about me! I've been told my whole life "confidence needs to come from within" yadda yadda yadda and yeah that's true, but my self-esteem's been shitty for so long that I think I need that outward reassurance before I can actually believe good things
