I’ve noticed that when my Consular enters stealth, her lightsaber does not stealth with her.

It baffles me how enemies just.... don’t see the floating green stick and run

The answers for Sothani and Koriga won’t be as developed because I haven’t gotten very far in their class stories

4: Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?

For Luuezen, the whole “getting frozen in carbonite for five years and waking up to a war” thing screwed with her worldview a bit. She used to be just in it for the credits and her crew, wanting to stay out of the war and not caring about the Empire, but seeing and hearing about the devastation wrought by the Eternal Empire convinced her to put her goddamn life on the line for the galaxy. Her current companions don’t know this, but when she meets up with her old crew, they’ll probably see something has changed

Sothani used to idolise both the Jedi Order and the Republic, and started her career idealistic and naive, but learned that the Republic wasn’t the paragon of good she had thought it to be, and had committed some atrocities that definitely went against what she had been taught in the Jedi code. This led to her becoming more harsh and criticising of the Republic, leading to Sothani becoming the unholy combination of a Jedi Mormon and walking call-out post. The shift in personality is very noticeable to anyone who’s known her for a long time.

Koriga had a similar crisis on Ord Mantell- it was her first time in a real warzone (Luu and Mako tried their best to keep the kids out of it), and the defection, followed by some of Garza’s decisions in the aftermath, stripped her of her naivety. She’d originally planned to specialised in heavy artillery, but switched to combat medicine after Ord Mantell, realising she’d rather dedicate her time to saving civilians than pleasing her commanding officers.

44. How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it?

It took Luuezen forever to finally tell Mako that she loved her (it took two years and an argument to be precise). She doesn’t dole the words out without meaning or super-frequently; if she tells you she loves you, you’ve become pretty special to her.

Sothani is similarly kind of an ice queen. It took her a few dates with her girlfriend (my agent) to get the words out, but further down the line, she’s dealt it out more frequently.

Koriga’s the opposite of these two- she’s a huge sap and probably tells Val that she loves her on at least a daily basis. She’s even said it to her other squadmates by accident.

45: What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?

Koriga and Luuezen are both Force-Blind and don’t really believe in an afterlife. It scares Luuezen- her life sucks, but there’s so many people she’s grown to care about, and she doesn’t want to leave them behind. Koriga’s accepted that being a trooper’s a dangerous line of work, so she’s come to terms with death and all that, but is starting to have some doubts now that she’s got a girlfriend.

Sothani’s hoping to become one with the Force after she dies, but at this stage she doesn’t know how, which worries her.
