How long had it been since Sothis had stepped foot back into the monastery again? Everyone had moved on with their life, yet, her life was still tied to this place. She had always been around, nothing could truly rid her from this world that she had created. Gods and Goddesses couldn’t be defeated so easily, yet, she had thought everyone had long forgotten her.
Revisiting the church, she saw the familiar people, the ones she passed by each and every day while sharing a body with Byleth. No one could see her, yet, she knew that people knew of her presence. Seeing Rhea, her beloved daughter every so often was always a comforting daily journey for her. She had wanted to speak with her daughter again, yet, no way to do it.
Huffing a sigh, she knew she wouldn’t be able to take the chance of turning herself visible with so many people around anyways. So thus, staying in this form was her only choice. Folding her arms across her chest and floating ever so slightly up so that her feet didn’t touch the ground, she traveled back to the rooms of the monastery. Going higher than the normal person would allow, where her children lived. Well, her children and grandchild, she smiled to herself. This area also brought her peace and she could be visible.
Rhea was busy with doing whatever she was doing. Sothis was unsure what she was even doing anymore. Yet, that didn’t stop from Sothis checking up on her daughter. Her feet touched the wood of the hallways and looked up and down the ways. Everyone on this floor should know of her existence, it could merely blamed on hallucinations if someone outside of her bloodline saw her. Yet, her nose picked up on something different.
Nabatean blood? But.. It was different. It was familiar but not of her children. She faced the door where she had smelled it and knocked on the door. Would it be polite to just ask who this person who smelled like one of her kind would be doing on a floor that wasn’t for them?
“I demand you open up and show yourself!”
