Souda literally had almost no friends during his middle school years, making him an extremely lonely person.

Because of this, he can be extremely clingy to people (i.e. Leon, Hinata) because he fears losing his friends, making it almost impossible for him to hold long grudges against anyone unless they show an interest in Sonia, which makes him get extremely jealous and angry (hence his hatred for Togami and Gundam).
