Like the game itself, Boxxle’s Japanese manual is super dense and not very exciting to look at, yet packed with history. In this case, it features a two-page retrospective on Soukoban by a BEEP magazine writer whose name I’m afraid to guess at because I’d probably get it wrong. (Shimoyama?) So that’s kind of cool. The American manual, of course, offers nothing of the sort.
