Pretty spot on, but not entirely accurate. For instance, I don’t “conform”, which sounds a lot like pretending to be somebody I’m not, and that’s just not something I would do. Hiding parts of who I am and only revealing curtain aspects of my personality is one thing, there’s a time and a place, not to mention an audience, but to be somebody I’m not just to fit in and make someone else comfortable is not something I’d do. There’s really nothing wrong with meeting people you don’t have anything in common with, it happens, there’s really no reason or any point in changing who you are simply to get along with someone, you’re going to get bored with the lie eventually.
