Omg I was so happy that I received an ARC of this book! I was so surprised. I read it on my phone and tablet via Google books because I don't have a Kindle haha And OMG THIS WAS AMAZING!!! The majority of Greek retelling books that I've read have focused on Helen and Paris or Hades and Persephone, so I loved loved loved that this was about Psyche and Cupid. I know little bits about them but to have their story as a full blown book is just amazing. I don't want to give away a lot of the plot... I'll revise my review once it's out and everyone has had a chance to read it but what I did love the message within the book; about looking from within yourself and others to honestly know what a person is about. I loved that concept. I absolutely love everything Wendy writes but this one I absolutely adored and devoured. Cupid is just... Uh swoon! Haha Everything about this book is truly amazing; the characters, the concept, the world, the gorgeous and imaginative descriptions and all the swoon worthy scenes ;) There are three parts to this book and by the end of the first part I honestly wondered what more was left to tell but goddamnit Wendy definitely delivered. I love the way she writes and it's so very easy to get lost in her words and the world she creates. I honestly wish that I can be an amazing writer like Wendy and give everyone the joy of reading my words.
