following the events of avengers:endgame how does your character feel about everything that has happened?

contrary to popular belief, reed was still actually processing what’s happened. perhaps he was lucky he didn’t disintegrate into thin air, but it did get pretty lonely. perhaps constantly being inside the lab helped to distract him, but reed was more than ready to help when it came to it. but just when things were going back to normal, he found himself being sucked into another problem and that was being stuck inside the soul stone.

what has your character brought with you into the soul stone?

he had been in the lab with sue when he was brought into the soul stone. sue had been the one to go first, and while his mind went a mile a minute figuring out where she’d gone, reed found himself brought into the soul stone just a few hours later. sadly, he only had his uniform on him, a fantasti-flare, and his universal translator. unfortunately, he left the memorium device behind in his lab.

give us a bit about your character, tell us how you see them.

so i’m basing reed richards off of the 2005 and 2007 films, as well as earth-616 reed. he’s a little socially awkward but he can definitely put up a confident image in front of the cameras. while humble, reed also has an extremely competitive side and he considers himself the most intelligent man in the world (lmao sorry about him). but he does ask for help whenever he needs to and offers it whenever he can!

also another thing i love about reed is that he also doesn’t hesitate to say he doesn’t understand something sdfjksdf. like he knows magic exists, he’s seen it be used, but he doesn’t understand it so he doesn’t question it. reed’s thought process on magic is “i don’t understand it yet but it’s effective and they’re using it, and i’ll attempt to study it some other time.”

he also failed his driving test four times before finally passing the fifth. not really important but just throwing it out there.

following the events of avengers:endgame how does your character feel about everything that has happened?

changing around comic canon, to fit into the mcu timeline, jessica had decided to step away from the life as an avenger in order to care for her newborn son, gerry, around the time of infinity war. there were more than enough heroes out there who could do the big stuff, so she’d stick around to fight everyday crime while raising her child. both jess and gerry were snapped from the outcome of the battle of wakanda. 

what has your character brought with you into the soul stone?

out from a job, and needing funds to raise gerry, jessica picks up a bodyguard job from pharmaceutical billionaire michael marchand, jessica is on job on a yacht when she begins feeling physically unwell, and emotionally off. jessica soon finds herself taking down a group of kidnappers, causing her to go into a bit of a rage. this causes her to suffer a seizure and becomes immobilized by her own venom blasts. she wakes up in the soul sone, with gerry on the outside with his babysitter.  

that being said, jess has literally ended up here with nothing but the NEW spider woman suit on her back, some nasty bruises from the fight leading her here, her snarky, sarcastic attitude and a fighting urge to get back to her son.

jessica is a woman with incredible grit, who somehow always ends up in a sticky situation ( web pun NOT intended. ) from her childhood - being injected with untested serum filled with blood of several uncommon species of spiders after getting sick from uranium exposure, to being sealed in a genetic decelerator for years, to being manipulated over and over by hydra, kidnapped multiple times, impersonated by a skrull, kidnapped again, double crossed a few times, but she always gets back up.

she does constantly worry that in the end, she’ll be abandoned again, or that she’ll fall back into some form of manipulation or betrayal. she ultimately wants what she never had before: control over herself and her own desires and the most normal life that can come with a life like hers. 

she will do anything for her friends and allies, whether or not she’s an ‘avenger’ or not. though she is a free agent, she will jump at their call. her guilt in the aftermath of thanos for being idle during the events of IW/endgame kind of doubled down on her new discovery. 

oh, and also. . . she demands to be spidermom to all the spiderfam. she wont take further criticism.

Death. Not foreign to Kaine yet something he wasn’t expecting so soon. For a long time, he desired to be put down- to have his pain and misery ended. He got the wish a few times before but this time was different. He actually wanted to live life and that was snatched from him. He’ll be pretty pissed to find out he’s in the Soul Stone.

Kaine. The first clone of Peter Parker created by the Jackal gone wrong. He was replaced by Ben Reilly in the grand scheme of things. 

He lived five years in pain due to his degeneration. In a twisted way, he cared about Peter Parker and protected him from anyone who seemed like a threat. The twisted part was that he convinced himself that Ben Reilly was a threat.

He had daddy issues, constantly going back to the Jackal at his beck and call for his approval despite the obvious disgust displayed by his maker. 

He was eventually healed of the degeneration but lost his spider-senses in turn. 

He wears the stealth-spider suit. 

He can eject stingers from his wrists, naturally create webs, communicate with spiders, and make his eyes glow red. 

He currently still has the totem of “The Other”

Kaine visibly hates the name “Scarlet Spider” dubbed to him by the press because it’s the same as his old nemesis. Some part of him likes the name as a reminder to be a better person. 

As well as looking exactly like Peter Parker, he also has the same pheromones as him. So *cough* Cindy Moon run *cough*

what has your character brought with you into the soul stone?

Marcos brought nothing but the clothes on his back and the watch on his wrist. He didn’t have anything else on him.

Marcos was born in Bogota, Colombia. His mother was a mutant and his father was a conservative human. His father forced his mother to hide her powers which in turn forced her to pass due to stress. 

His powers came in when he was 13. He was kicked out onto the streets when he refused to hide his powers. He fended for himself on the streets until he began to work for the Mexican Cartel. 

He was later approached by John Proudstar and joined the cause of the Mutant Underground.

His power category is photon manipulation. He can generate, create and project photons of light from both his hands. His beams are powerful enough that he could blind someone even if they closed their eyes by putting it up to their face and they are hot enough to cut through cinder blocks. His body is a literal battery of light and heat.

With enough effort Marcos is able to absorb all off light sources to create darkness.

Marcos can sometimes be described as a ray of sunshine, always emitting hope even in the darkest hour. It takes a lot to break his spirit. Or just a bad breakup.

Billy was confused, worried, and anxious about ending up in the soul stone. Waking up to the sight of golden skies and what didn’t look like the earth, it was fearful for him. For some reason, he blames himself. He’s convinced that this whole thing is one of his spells gone haywire and he screwed everyone over with him. Or it was finally time he paid the price of his magic and this was what the universe had in mind. Regardless of the real reason, he feels like this is his fault. He won’t tell anyone that’s what he thinks, but that’s how he feels about everything right now.

Billy Kaplan is one of the reincarnated twins of Wanda Maximoff.

He is a huge geek and fanboy of superheroes. After the Scarlet Witch, his next favorite Avenger is without a doubt, Captain America. He cosplayed as him on more than one occasion.

Adding onto that, he loves Sailor Moon, She-Ra, Game of Thrones, Pokemon, and pretty much anything geeky you could think of.

He’s a badass gay with too much power he still isn’t sure why he’s destined to become the past, present, and future of magic.

He prefers the term mage of magician. Warlock literally translates into “oath breaker” which he isn’t.

His main power is reality warping. Some things included are electrokinesis, flight, teleportation, healing, telekinesis, concussive force blasts, locating, and more. 

He struggles with self-worth, depression, and anxiety but he’s getting better with the help of Teddy.

(Ben wasn’t part of MCU End Game unfortunately)   Ben was devastated by the events that followed, the strangest thing when he didn’t get snapped when Thanos decided to go all “balance to everything”. He would’ve reacted the same way Peter Parker would’ve. Ben wouldn’t admit that admires, Peter - however he was close to Tony when he donned the gauntlet. He hates that the universe had to digress to such drastic measures to restore itself.

   Ben is one of the spider-army children. Of course he’s awesome by default. But the mere fact that he’s got all of his Peter’s memories and practically a clone, is part of the cool! Ben might have basic spider abilities, but there are some added extras that set him apart from Peter. He is mostly asocial from time to time, would prefer to be by himself but he finds solace in spending time with Kaine. I think if he really put himself out there - he could make a pretty great Spider-Man. Too bad he hates being compared to Peter.

Ben dyed his hair blond, to lessen his resemblance to Peter Parker.

Ben's computer password is "Kaine." He claims it's because he's a sucker for sentiment.

Recently, Ben has been experiencing hallucinations of his "Scarlet Spider" and "Jackal" personas as a result of the trauma he suffered from Miles Warren's experiments. The Scarlet Spider persona encourages Ben to make moral decisions while the Jackal persona urges him to be more selfish and apathetic.

Ben’s become Death’s play thing, every time he died in the past she would pull him closer and tell him that he’s going back even he didn’t want to.

The first time Ben officially died was on Halloween and from then on he hates the holiday.

According to Death, Ben has died more than anyone else in the universe.

a mixture of things. confused, unsure, lost - relieved. getting out from under thanos’ control is all she’s wanted for such a long time. but beyond that, she’s not sure what she’s meant to be now. it’s not like when she left, before. she had the team, she had peter. that made it easier to really figure out how to be.. what she wanted to be. after the event of endgame, though, she disappeared on her own. she doesn’t know the team, she doesn’t know peter - all she can do is figure it out herself, and maybe with nebula’s help.

her sword of course, a gun as backup, the knife thanos gave her as a child..

to keep this short and sweet i will be using mcu background with comic elements - if you play someone who knows gamora in the comics but isn’t in mcu/has a differing backstory to mcu but you still want their connection, please let me know! i’m happy to incorporate anything in w her as her timeline is pretty open ended and flexible

the basics:

gamora originally came from a planet called zen-whoberi - they were a peaceful people, but suffered from poverty and starvation due to overpopulation of the planet.

in his bid to reduce population to allow the galaxy to thrive, thanos removed half the population of the planet. having watched her parents die before her, gamora was alone. young and traumatised, she was taken in by thanos and raised as his daughter

as she grew she was “enhanced” - her body altered, changed, made into something else. she was implanted with a number of cybernetics to make her stronger, faster, more durable - fashioned into a weapon of thanos’ choosing.

life with thanos was cruel and hard - she was raised with nebula to become a warrior and nothing else. the sisters would often be pitted against each other to “train”, and the loser would be further enhanced. each and every time gamora won, determined to keep herself from further pain and agony - with no idea that the very same would be inflicted on her sister instead.

as gamora grew she built a name for herself as thanos’ right hand, his best assassin - the deadliest woman in the universe. her reputation spread far and wide.

as time went on and she learned more of his plans, more of his cruelty, she knew she had to stop it. before she could do anything about it though, the events of endgame happened - as per her timeline - and now... here she is

loki’s fuckin’ tired, dude. they want a nap. going from jumping from 2012 with the tesseract to various other points throughout the timeline until they merged with their future self to being imprisoned once again to escaping and ending up in the soul stone... well, it’s a lot, needless to say. but at least they don’t have to wear that ugly grey and orange jumpsuit anymore.

what has your character brought with you into the soul stone?

basically just the clothes on their back and their daggers. they originally appeared in a prison jumpsuit but used their magic to shift into something more comfortable and less... noticeable.

born to king laufey and his wife farbauti, loki was abandoned as a baby because they were considered to be small and weak for a frost giant

however, they were found by odin and thus adopted by king odin and queen frigga of asgard, raised alongside their adoptive brother thor, believing that they were as much their child as thor was

overall, their childhood was good compared to what it would have been had they either been kept by their birth parents or died on jotunheim, even if they would later tell people otherwise (ex. telling thor they lived in his shadow – feelings of their own insecurity brought out by thanos’ manipulation)

they were taught to wield magic by their mother, frigga, as they lacked interest in fighting, partially due to their smaller stature

loki often played pranks on thor using the magic they were being taught, such as finding different ways to stab him or turn him into different animals, both as a child and into their adulthood

i won’t go into too much more detail about the events of the avengers & the thor movies bc i’m sure most people have seen em and knows all that goes on so ….. yes (plus i’m lazy)

which brings us to infinity war, where thanos kills loki after loki attempted to trick and stab him. loki failed, thanos stopped him, and broke their neck

ofc there’s also endgame loki and the whole thing w/ escaping with the tesseract so lemme... explain where i’m going from w/ that! so, basically, at some point down the line while... time jumping or w/e, loki’s two selves (2012 loki and infinity war loki) merged into one person! my main reason for doing this is that the ragnarok character development is very important to how i write loki!!

as hinted at in the loki previews, they were in time prison or something and what i’m thinking for this is basically that though they managed to escape from time prison, they’ve now found themselves in an entirely new prison lmfao

loki is genderfluid and pansexual! they use she/her or they/them pronouns. they/them is a good base if you’re ever not sure!! but of course she/her is fine too!

i usually hc that there’s a permanent scar around loki’s neck due to their death via thanos, and because of that, they wear a scarf almost all the time to cover it up
