It´s September again. I really like this month and time in a year because it always reminds me of September 1997. After 2 years working with equipment from a friend I bought my first very first sampler. It was an Akai S3200. Even if these machines don´t play that important role today and each mobile phone and any computer can record and edit audio material, they have been one of the three most important tools in the studio. The technique of recording any audio material digitally and cut, copy and edit it in any way was groundbreaking and changed my life completely. Now, more than 2 deacades later, i still love working with samplers and making music with them.
