so i was stalking the talk tag and i found this and thought i’d give it a whirl! maybe a little bit late as i’ve been posting for over a week but oh well lol

i think i’ve mentioned some of these things before but hopefully it’s helpful to have them all in one place! <3

i’m gmt and hoping to be on every day! i’ve almost managed it so far so hoping i can continue it lol.

i was part of the group last time (i think i just found it in the horror rp tag), then came across it by chance again and was so excited it was back!

what you would do if you got caught in Boot Hill’s trap?

oh gosh, i definitely would not be able to cope with it, i am a total wimp lol. although my brain might just reject everything that's happening and relentlessly be like 'nah this is normal' 

what’s your favorite scary story? are you currently reading any books?

i’ll admit i’m very new to horror and stuff as i am a bit of a scaredy cat, so if anyone has any horror reading recommendations please hmu, i want to read some!

what song has been stuck in your head lately?

i’m a musical theatre student, so so many songs, constantly. it’s a problem. right now it’s taylor the latte boy (which is very funny and i would recommend for a laugh)

what do you think Boot Hill is? hell, purgatory, another plane of existence, etc?

oooooo, i’m not sure - in my head, i think it’s almost like a glitching pixel on a screen. as in, it doesn’t adhere to the rhythm of the rest of the world, it does it’s own thing. so maybe... a glitch in the system of the universe?

if you had to pick a place of residence in Boot Hill, where would you live?

probably the desert willow apartment complex, as i am not organised enough to keep a whole house in check!

what’s your local grocery store chain called? (this is purely for the admin’s benefit because i am obsessed with grocery stores lmfao)

apologies, genuine or not, were often overlooked by kitty. girls like her were rarely ever sorry for the choices that they made, but she felt different this time. it almost felt right to apologize to him, but she quickly suppressed that thought. of course it wasn’t right, this was all for fun, he was for fun. why should she feel bad about playing with sonny when he was the one that allowed himself to be played with? yes, that’s a much more appropriate thought for her to have. that thought justified it all.

the queen of boot hill looks more like a pitiful little girl just then, tears in her eyes and begging on her lips. i deserve that, i meant what i said, i’m sorry. from her looks and from her words, it should be so easy for his will to break. he should be so easy to slide himself back into her servant role, it sounds so true! it sounds like the truth he’s been waiting to hear for years—no, that’s been i love you. suspiciously, that’s the one that’s missing. well, perhaps not suspiciously, but regretfully. shamefully. with all that’s happened, that’s all that alison wants to hear from kitty. (that’s all alison’s wanted to hear from anyone.)

hi folks ! i’m lucia and, unfortunately, i don’t get to be here for the opening, because i work !! but no worries, i’ve planned accordingly and written up some closed starters and open starters for y’all and i’ll be here saturday ( even though i’m on call fml ) to do some replies. below the cut, you can find some cliff’s notes about neve channing and kimimela ‘kim’ liu ( find her @agicidas​ ). if you’d like to plot something out, hmu ! otherwise, it’s super great to meet y’all and i’ll be seeing you real soon.

neve is a thirty-one year old er nurse who arrived in boot hill about five months ago following an escalation in her stalker’s behavior that led to her leaving her er job in portland, oregon and her fiance ( they were already having problems ). she is a nurse at the amen county hospital, lives on tangerine street in a modest house with her siberian husky whose name is robocop. she’s a wee bit aloof and apprehensive following the events that led her to leave portland, oregon but the most loyal friend you could have. will also call you on your bullshit and occasionally sleep through lunch plans.

kim is the sole survivor of a devastating family annihilation that was attributed to one or both of her parents. she’s spent her whole life trying to establish her parents’ innocence, but her investigative efforts always seem to be sabotaged or forgotten in some strange way. she works as a dispatcher for the amen county sheriff’s office and also slings breakfast and lunch at may’s family restaurant. after the death of her family, she grew up with a modest foster family in the miracle mines trailer park, but now she lives in the silver spurs tenement. she’s been seen as a pariah since she was a child, the stigma of her parents’ alleged involvement in the death of her family following her through life. she’s a bit guarded, a bit sassy and cynical, but she’s a good egg.
