We left our camp when the sky and our surroundings became clear, so we could at least see what’s in front.

The sun painted the sky in red in east. It was 30 minutes for the sun to rise and hug us with its warmth.

Mount Wheart, Whistler BC - 2019/02/26 It seems like there is less snow than our average winter in this area. Wind was strong yesterday, and sonw stability was really unpredictable. We avoided any big slopes to ski or even to hike up. Therefor, we headed to a chute by Wedge mount lake, but the chute was also wind affected and showed some instability signs while we were climbing up. Then, the slope was cut about 6m above us. We would have been caught if we weren’t climbing it close to the side wall. Wind makes snow stability hard to read. 2018-03-25 *This video has really loud sound of wind!! We went up to the peak of Mt Rohr. It was really windy at ridges, and high alpine slopes are hard wind pack condition. South face is icy.
