So I'm setting my things for Beltane... so far, I've:

Managed to throw a pile of comics over my head

Tried to blow a test candle and spilled hot candle wax over my hands and legs

I was planning to watch some Halloween movies, but now I'm just tired.

Is it unusual that I get incredibly annoyed at all the mismatched seasonal sentiments? 'Here's some summer recipes!' 'Your summer wardrobe never looked better!' and so on.

Just once I would like acknowledgement that the other half of the earth even exists and that it's winter down here and that I would love some articles on winter recipes when it is actually winter.
