◈ Of-course Rashta's death affected Sovieshu, considering his daughter was left to him completely who he wasn't sure how to take care of..ad with Rashta's wishes, Sovieshu had to get Ian back from Libetti Rimwell, before leaving them as they want..so two infants to take care of, it wasn't easy...no, on top of that, being an emperor took a toll on Sovieshu.
◈ But surprisingly, he met you at one of Ian's banquet, with the rumor that Ian was hidden due to bad health like Rashta, as he took care of both the children..But of-course as fate would have it, Ian ran and hid in a gorgeous person's arms and from there..Sovieshu got a new spouses, YOU!
◈ Of-course, you'd have to take care of the children a bit, despite them being illegitimate, with a newborn Gloreym and Ian and he felt so much better, Of-course Rashta holds a place in his heart..but You have your own place.
◈ He would compare you at times to Rashta, but reminds himself you both are different people and honestly you're happy to have him heal a bit. Days are often spend with lavish gifts, cuddling with the two babies who coo and babble to you 24/7 and seeing the two bond weirdly close.
◈ God the two have the chubbiest cheeks wit the most contagious laughs, no wonder Rashta was easily loved, you'd realize. As you'd comfort one of the babies in the middle of the night after one of them woke up crying, waking the other too while Sovieshu's comforting the other inside the room.
◈ The kids cling to you, nothing's off limits. Seriously, even as growing up, the two cling to you and you'd try to tell them about Rasta as much as you'd be able to if you were close with her, the public's opinion and stuff. Sovieshu always smiles, seeing you and the two together.
◈ Another thing is, Sovieshu gets a bit petty when he doesn't get enough attention, so aside from children, you have an emperor clinging to you as well, good luck. But all three are cute, so you're lucky.
◈ With a Sovieshu comes great responsibilities and that comes in the form of hyperactive cuties with fluffy silverish-blonde hair and adorable faces who look like angels who have an obsession with shiny things like little crows, as they continue to cling to your dresses and follow you everywhere like little ducklings.
◈ Sovieshu adores children, as it was stated in the novel somewhere, and so I do think that maybe after Ian and Gloreym grow a few years older and become more manageable, he'd like to have more children with you, one that looks like you now! Your hair colour, your smile or even your temper, s the world could see his love even as years passed, like they saw his love for Rashta through Ian and Gloreym.
◈ He showers you with incredible gifts and always makes sure you enjoy yourself aside from caring for his kids, he didn't want you to go through the depressing motions of taking care of children that Rashta suffered briefly after the rumors of Gloreym not being his daughter...and you settle well into your role as an empress if you take up the position.
◈ Overall he's an incredibly person who adores you and keeps you safe in his heart, though Rashta occupies a bit f it, you also share it with her, and you did not mind it as Sovieshu moves on and it sometimes feels like Rashta also moves on with her afterlife of the breeze as if someone is happily running with ribbons in their hair..

Sovieshu looked up from his works and saw his lover, [Name] leaning against the frame door. He sighed and massaged his head. "Yes... work has been piling up more than usual.." Sovieshu said as [Name] chuckled and stood up, closing the door behind him.
He walked up to Sovieshu and stood beside him, his office was loaded with a ton of papers and [Name] couldn't help but feel sorry for his own lover. Seeing him work through the night without a wink of sleep as his office continue to pile up with work.
His hand worked Sovieshu shoulders before he snapped his fingers, Sovieshu looked as the papers started to float and pens being taken out of his drawers.
Sovieshu looked at [Name] who only smiled at him, copy of him started to appear and do his work. His eyes widened at what [Name] was doing. "You need some rest, don't worry love. I made sure they think just like you, so any decision you are in favor or not, will be done." [Name] said.
"Your majesty! [Name]!"
The two looked up and saw Rashta with a wide smile on her face. "I have baked some cookies for us! Would you like to try it?" Rashta said, with her hands clasp together. [Name] chuckled and nodded. "Of course, shall we?" He said as he looked at Sovieshu.

"No buts Sovieshu, you need this rest."
[Name] took the pen from his grasp and dragged Sovieshu out of his chair, they got out of the office and closed the door. Leaving the paperwork to [Name] magic, Rashta quickly went back to the kitchen as [Name] set up their usual spots in the garden.
Sovieshu sat down on the chair and began to feel [Name] hand on his shoulders, massaging it gently. He let out a sigh of relief and relaxed under [Name] hold, he looked up at [Name] who looked back at him with a smile.
Rashta came back with a few maids trailing behind her and a tray of cookies in a plate in her hands. "Smells good.." [Name] commented as Rashta giggled and smiled. She placed the plates of cookies on the table as well as the other sweet treats and tea.
The maids left as Rashta happily ate the dessert, [Name] hummed in satisfaction while eyeing Sovieshu who looks like he was still deep in thought and he knew what was on his mind.
"Relax Sovieshu.."
The black haired snapped out of his thoughts and looked at his boyfriend. "You have been working non stop for the past 3 days... without an ounce of sleep too." [Name] said as Rashta hummed and nodded, agreeing with [Name] words.
"[Name] is right, your majesty. You have been cooped in your office without a break.." Rashta said, looking worriedly at Sovieshu who chuckled and nodded.
"I know... I know.. you two have been nagging me to take a break.."
"[Name] gets all mopey and sad like a puppy for the past 3 days.." Rashta said as [Name] face gets flustered at her words, reminding him of how he has been acting ever since Sovieshu has been working non stop.

Rashta smiled but [Name] could see the teasing hint at her voice and face, she always liked to see tease the two about each other.
Sovieshu chuckled and ate the cupcake, as Rashta continue to tease [Name] who was embarrassed and trying to stop Rashta from saying anything more.
He never liked it whenever someone was teasing him about his clinginess since [Name] always like to portray himself as a serious man, not some sort of a clingy puppy.
[Name] forced a cookie in Rashta mouth to keep her shut who only giggled in response, he looked at Sovieshu who was smiling at him.

Sovieshu Vict
You were a noble in the Western Kingdom, right hand man to King Wharton III. Your reputation preceded you as a man of great respect when it came to women. The swarm of women around you was basically a dead giveaway. However, instead of ushering them away, you addressed each by name and you promised each of them a dance… that was unless they were married. You were not about to make other men angry and cause a disturbance of the peace.
However, when you saw Empress Navier upset with the Emperor, who was dancing with another woman, any thought of respect for His Imperial Majesty flew out the window. Instead, you went to Heinrey, in whom you could see the lovesickness, and you ushered him towards Her Imperial Majesty. You knew your friend like the back of your hand, and if anyone would treat her right, it would be Heinrey.
A few days later, when the prince got in trouble for “slandering Rashta’s image”, you took his place in the hypothetical duel. After all, you were the most expendable option here, as you were no heir to the throne. However, in order to prevent any fatal harm, you offered to bring Sovieshu to fisticuffs instead of a swordfight. Needless to say, it ended with him being bruised and you being scratch-free. You hadn’t studied martial arts for nothing, after all.
Of course, this is when the story of you being thrown in jail for nearly beating an abusive man to death. You had seen the fear in his children’s and wife’s eyes, and you couldn’t take it. The King had enough with your anger issues and threw you into prison, but there was a huge riot within the Western Kingdom. Because it was disturbing day-to-day life, you were let out with a large warning and a criminal record. However, you managed to charm the Queen, befriending her in the process, which made her a valuable ally.
Rashta
She had never heard of you, but by the way that all the ladies at the New Year’s Party were swarming you, she judged that you were a good man. That being said, she definitely did want to talk to you. However, Sovieshu kind of swept her up to dance, causing a ruckus even after the whole dress drama and people debating whether Navier was copying her or if Rashta was copying Navier.
Anyway, when she was done, she saw you standing with Prince Heinrey, who seemed to be staring at the Empress. You were speaking to him quietly with a glass of wine in your hand, nudging him with your elbow. As much as the young mistress loves to pretend that she is, she is not naive. She knows what you two are doing. However, she’s not going to disrupt anything. If Navier is out of the picture, then Sovieshu is all hers.
During her—rather toxic—friendship with Duke Ergi, she asked how he knew how to talk to her and calm her down. That was when he told her about how you actually fought him for daring to disrespect a female friend that you all had in your youth. With his reputation as a womanizer, you thought it unjust that these girls who were drawn to him would be disrespected in such a manner, so you gave him a black eye, a busted shoulder, a busted lip, and a bruised pride.
Through her maidservant, she found out about your criminal record in the Western Kingdom. Even though you were the right-hand man to the king, you were still thrown in prison for nearly murdering a man who turned out to be abusive to his wife and children. However, the citizens held a riot to let you out. That wasn’t anything she could use against you, but it seemed like your respect even went to her as you could see her plans, but you both knew that it would be more beneficial if Navier went elsewhere.
Navier Trovi
She wasn’t the one to invite you, but she knew of your reputation. She had met you previously as you were an ambassador for the Western Kingdom as well since King Wharton III was constantly too ill to travel. Seeing you at the New Year’s Party was a pleasant surprise, as she had not known that her husband had invited you.
One thing that she didn’t know was that you were the one to usher Heinrey to get to know her better and even begin to court her. Infidelity was not something you often encouraged, but seeing the Emperor dancing with his mistress rather than his wife pissed you off. When you yourself spoke with her to introduce Prince Heinrey, she noticed that you were not nervous. You still spoke to her with respect, but there was a spark of mischief in your eye.
You were known for being ruthless with men who you deemed unworthy of even being alive. Your scars were kept visible because you were feared among all men in any empire or kingdom. Navier found herself curious about them, but she knew better than to ask because the last thing anyone would want is your criminal record being outed to the media
However, someone else seemed to get a hold of the papers at the time, where the headline was ‘WESTERN KINGDOM NOBLE BEATS MAN TO DEATH’. Instead of being ashamed, though, you smiled as you asked that person if he would have let that man’s wife be beaten to death along with his children if he allowed that abusive man to keep living. That shut everyone up rather quickly.
Heinrey Lazlo
You were his best friend since youth, along with Ergi. However, you were not afraid to beat your shared friend after he made a girl cry. As you all grew up, you all were heartthrobs, but you were not in the habit of leading women on. You instead wanted to find ‘the one’, as did Heinrey, but Ergi was still set in his womanizer habits.
Anyway, at the New Year’s Party in the Eastern Empire, you were there for him to talk to when he visited the Empress in his bird form. He reminded you of a puppy, but you were happy because you knew that he would never let her down the way her own husband did by ignoring her presence and not taking his wife’s side when rumors started floating around.
Unfortunately, try as you might, your criminal record always found a way to be in the spotlight. Rashta had hired someone to expose you, and you had gone to prison years ago for beating a man to death. However, what neither knew was that Prince Heinrey and Duke Ergi had your back, as you clarified that the man was abusive and you were not going to stand to see a woman and their children be beaten because he had gambled on the wrong horse (literally).
That being said, you no longer held any respect for the mistress and vowed to be there when her crimes caught up to her. You had allowed Ergi to use his charm to manipulate her into trusting him, and you gathered a bunch of evidence to help Navier and Heinrey build a case against her. Also, you had visited Viscount Lotteshu, and while he himself was a piece of shit, you learned even more about Rashta.

🌸imagine kosiar being her husband and how caring he is about his lovely wife and them already having children because they never know when she dies so her children whoud be there for kosiar when she passes away .
👩🦯The children don't have the same illness as their mother so they will have a normal life unlike their mother so kosiar whoud not have to worry about them dying before he does.
🌸How would everyone react to kosiar being a father of twins (spoilers navier get pregnant with twins later in the Nov ) and that the children are absolutely angels like the mother.

Preface: You are a part of the nobility who is loved by all because of your motherly attitude towards everyone. You are married to Kosair, which makes you Navier and Sovieshu’s sister-in-law. Your children, one boy and one girl, are the perfect mixture of you and Kosair.
Sovieshu
He also considered you a ‘motherly’ figure, as you always offered him guidance in both political and personal matters. His earliest memories consist of him leading you through the palace gardens as he told you about problems he was having in his daily lessons. Needless to say, you were very close.
Even when he took on Rashta as a mistress, you gently asked him if he thought that he made the best choice for the Empire. You did not discriminate, even when he made mistakes, and that’s what he appreciated (and no, he did not harbor romantic feelings for you). Even after you were wed to Kosair and had children, the closeness between you two was not severed. He still went to you for advice.
He was originally going to name one of your children the Crowned Heir of the throne if he and Navier did not conceive, but Rashta was pregnant so that threw a wrench in his plans. Still, you harbored no resentment. You even congratulated him on the news (although, you knew that it wasn’t his).
However, he also knew of your sickness. That was mainly why he had to lead you through the gardens, since the illness left you blind. He was aware that you wouldn’t live long, as your family was often cursed. It was typically thought that when you take the last name of another man, your illness would be cured but you chose to keep your last name. Your children had the name of Trovi, though.
When you inevitably passed away, it was the first time that everyone in the Empire gathered together to mourn. Even some people from different Kingdoms and Empires attended the funeral procession. Tears ran down Sovieshu’s face, and he held his wife to comfort her. Your spirit, before ascending, was happy to see that the Emperor and Empress came together for one final time.
Rashta
You were the first person to make her feel welcomed into the palace, and she appreciated it. However, she realized that since you were loved by everyone, both high-ranking and not, ruining your reputation would do good for her because all of the negative attention wouldn’t be on her anymore. Plus, you knew that the baby wasn’t Sovieshu’s. You had told her that you didn’t judge, but she felt threatened.
She invited you for a walk in the garden, and you accepted as long as she would guide you through. An odd request, but she agreed. Within the garden, she led you to the center, where she pushed you to the ground and screamed. A guard heard and went to investigate, only to find you on the ground. Rashta tried to say that you had tried to attack her, but the guard told her that you were blind.
That guard reported it to the Emperor, and he was angry at his mistress for daring to harm his ‘mother’ and try to paint herself as the victim. However, you argued that you weren’t terribly hurt, and maybe just got a bit of a scratch at the most. Thus, the punishment should fit the crime.
Of course, the fact that you were blind caught your attention. So, she asked a servant to bring her to see you, and you gladly accepted her into your chambers. There, you opened the conversation with ‘What is wrong, my child?’ She didn’t know how to beat around the bush, so she directly asked how you became blind. You smiled before giving her a painfully honest answer. It made her tear up a bit, to be honest.
When you passed, she did not attend the funeral procession. She was advised by the Emperor as well as Duke Ergi not to, as the people were still angry at her for hurting you even though that was. However, once you were buried, she placed a single white tulip upon your grave. She has been told that it would be best, as it is a symbol of an apology.
Navier
Since you were her sister-in-law, it was no wonder that you both were very close together. She too seeked out your wise counsel when she went through times of despair. It was a surprise to no one that a lot of the nobility had given you the honorary title of ‘mother to all’. She often leads you through the gardens whenever she is troubled about something, and your conversations always leave her mind at peace.
Your twins were her niece and nephew, and she loved them dearly. They were quiet and kind, just like you, but they weren’t afraid to stand up for the people that they love, just like Kosair. Navier loved it whenever she heard them yell her name and she would kneel down to hug them. She was happy that they did not inherit your disease, as that meant that she would only lose one person that was important to her.
Speaking of your illness, she also knew of it, and she saw how you pushed through it day after day. There were times where you couldn’t get out of bed without major assistance, which did make her uncharacteristically upset. She could tell that your twins and her brother were silently suffering at seeing you sick and weak.
She was definitely angry when she heard that you had been pushed to the ground by the mistress, but she was surprised to see you arguing that you weren’t hurt badly and thus any punishment given to Rashta should be light. But, she was not going to argue against you, as you always knew best.
When you passed away, she stood with her older brother and her niece and nephew as she cried. It was raining that day, and black umbrellas as well as black attire under a sky of rain clouds were all that could be seen. Sovieshu surprised her by wrapping an arm around her shoulder, and she let a few tears fall. She swore that she could feel your spirit next to her.
Every year, for her birthday, the same crows that you trained would come and sing her Happy Birthday.
Heinrey
He had first met you at the ball, and he could see that you were basically like a mother to all of the noble families. So, he chose to get to know you since you were a motherly figure to Navier. Almost immediately, you both were sitting down as you listened to the problems that he was having.
This is where he accidentally lets it slip that he is the bird that keeps visiting Navier, and you smile as you say that you can’t see anything, so you can’t say anything. Heinrey had noticed that you weren’t looking at him throughout the whole conversation, so now he realizes that you are blind. Your husband, Kosair, actually led you everywhere.
During his visit at the palace, your husband brought your children to see Navier, which was the first time that the Prince got to see them as well. From what he could tell, they looked like Kosair but acted like you. They seemed to not have inherited your curse as well.
Unfortunately, he was not informed about your declining health, as it was deemed to be untimely since his brother was on his deathbed as well. So, when he inherited the crown of the Western Kingdom and went to visit Navier, he was wondering where you had gone. Unfortunately, the wound was still fresh when he asked Her Imperial Majesty.
It felt like he actually lost his mother all over again. He mourned, and he did not take the grief well. However, your last words to him were in a letter, and they were to make the Empress happy. So, he would do that to the best of his ability because it’s what you would have wanted.
Kosair
You both first met when you were children. Sure, you both were betrothed to one another considering it was believed that if you got your husband’s last name then you were exempt from the curse, but he still loved you with all his heart. However, for some unknown reason, you stuck with your original name. As sad as it made him, he did not argue against your choice.
The twins that you had given birth to were his entire world aside from you. His daughter and son had him wrapped around their fingers. He never told you this, but he was glad that you chose to give them his name, Trovi, instead of Ubuyashiki. But, you were still suffering from the curse, so he believed that it was his job as your husband to help you.
He loved leading you through the garden that you both had grown because it was a symbol of how you built a life together through the struggles. You loved that he cared about you so much, and it was always a wholesome moment. Eventually, your children would inherit the Manor and the garden, and you hoped that they would continue to help it thrive once you had inevitably passed.
Unfortunately, your health had deteriorated to the point where you were bedridden. Kosair held your hand and placed a kiss on the back of it as he spent as much time as he could by your side. Your children cuddled up next to you, which made you smile. Your crows were perched on the window sill, letting out sad cries.
Then, you passed away peacefully in your sleep. Because you were loved by everyone in the Empire, your funeral procession was one that would be typically for the Imperial Family. Everyone, aside from Rashta, attended. Kosair and your children as well as Sovieshu and Navier stood front and center as the High Priest said some words over your casket. Once the casket was covered with dirt, your husband placed your wedding ring within the dirt so that it would be buried with you.

Preface: You are the loyal wife of Kosair, but no one knows that since you tend to stay home and out of the public eye. However, you receive a summons from your sister-in-law, Navier, asking you to become her lady-in-waiting since Viscountess Verdi left to be employed by Rashta. You accepted the position, and a whole spiel of events happened after that.
Sovieshu
Upon seeing you on your first day within the palace, he was absolutely smitten. Not only were you absolutely beautiful, but you also had the voice and kindness as a goddess. As a result, he tried to get to know you. However, you took your job as Navier’s lady-in-waiting very seriously and was entirely dedicated to her.
You weren’t exactly surprised when he asked you to be his second mistress, considering he would pull any excuse to be around you. However, you declined his offer, saying that you were sure your husband wouldn’t be happy about that, and that you were loyal to Kosair and not even death could part you. That is one way to bruise an Emperor’s ego.

She immediately saw you as a threat to her and her already damaged reputation. You outshined her in just about everything, be it kindness, charm, or just beauty in general. She stood no chance against you, and she couldn’t spread any rumors about you that wouldn’t make it sound like she’s just jealous of you.
When she found out that Sovieshu had asked you to be his second mistress, she was absolutely terrified at what that might entail. Was he bored of her? Would she be kicked out of the palace? Would she have to go back to her life of slavery? Well, good thing you refused.
However, as much as she wanted to not believe it, the truth was still there: the Emperor was infatuated with you. Rashta could see it as he forced a smile in your and Kosair’s direction. At least you weren’t willing to betray your husband. Maybe you were less of a threat than she originally thought.
Navier
She was a bit annoyed that Viscountess Verdi left, but she had the perfect idea for a replacement. So, she wrote a letter to you, and was glad to see you show up ready for the job. You caught up quickly, and you did really well. You had the voice of a nightingale, and it soothed her to no end. You promised to both her and your husband that they would be the only ones that you would sing for.
You told her that Sovieshu had asked you to become his mistress and that he promised you would never have to work another day in your life. Navier covered her smile because she knew that with the passion you both showed at your wedding, you and Kosair were still very much in love with each other and well on your way to starting a family.
The time that Kosair visits her, she knew that he was instead trying to visit you. The Empress felt a bit smug upon seeing her jealous husband watch as your husband dipped you down and kissed you right in the middle of the room. For once, Sovieshu got a taste of his own medicine, and Navier was happy about it.
Heinrey
He first met you when he visited Navier in his bird form, and as much as he would like to say you were beautiful… he was biased towards his Queen. No offense, but we all know how much he is absolutely in love with the Empress. Obviously he is going to think that Navier is the most beautiful person that the world has ever seen, and we love him for that.
All this aside, you both are in an alliance of sorts. He was not allowed to hear you sing, but during that time where he wasn’t allowed to come visit you would gather information that you would give him at a later time. In his bird form, he knew where to find you, so it was never really a problem.
When Kosair had been exiled from the Eastern Empire, he was aware that you would probably want to go with him. Thus, he offered his Kingdom as an escape so that neither of you would be targeted by an Emperor (*cough*Sovieshu*cough*) in any fashion. Plus, he knew that if he was going to have Navier move to his Kingdom as well, you needed to be there as well.
Kosair
This man is most definitely in love with you. Whenever he gets angry, you’re either there to calm him down or say you forgot your weapon, darling! Then you give him a kiss and he forgets why he’s mad or who he’s mad at. He’s just so lucky that you chose him out of all your possible suitors. But he’s still insecure so he wants to make sure that no other man steals you away, thus you stay in the Manor.
However, you receive a letter from Navier, asking if you would become her lady-in-waiting. Kosair was scared about his brother-in-law trying to make a move on you, but you reminded him that no one loved you like he did (take that as you may), and you promised him that, aside from Navier, he was the only person you would sing for.
When he went to visit Navier, he really just wanted to see you, his beloved wife. He also wanted to give Sovieshu a message: you were his and his alone. So, he dipped you down and kissed you right in front of him. Very passionately, too. The hand you placed on the back of his neck made him want to keep going, but you were in front of an audience, so you both parted.

He met you during your first day on the job as one of Navier’s ladies-in-waiting, and he was almost immediately in love. Your then-black hair really complimented your eyes and face in a pleasant way. But, you eventually let out the truth that you had differently colored hair and stopped dying it. His heart was pounding against his chest so harshly, he thought it might actually burst.
Your kind disposition only made him fall harder. Sure, you tried to avoid him as much as you could, but in the situations where you couldn’t you still remained calm and considerate, while also trying to speak up so that he didn’t have to lean in close to hear you. After all, you were still loyal to Navier and would never even imagine trying to steal her husband… unlike somebody.
But your ‘be kind’ mantra was interrupted when you heard that Sovieshu requested you to be Rashta’s lady-in-waiting instead of Navier’s. You let out a gasp as well as a few tears upon hearing this from the Emperor himself, and he tried to kneel down and hold your hand in his to comfort you, but you shrugged him off and ran to the Empress. He later received a letter from you stating that you would not work for the mistress and that you would rather be fired than work for her.
A few months later, his wife told him that you had gotten engaged to her older brother. This shocked Sovieshu because he never knew that the two of you were courting at all, but then that shock turned into anger and envy. What did you see in Kosair of all people??? If you think that you damaged this man’s enormous ego with just one engagement ring, you would be right.
Rashta
She thought that Navier hiring you was a personal attack against her because you were immediately popular within the palace. She was the one who dumped the water and washed the black coloring out of your hair under the impression that you would be exposed for lying, but it worked in your favor. You were from then on called the ‘Beauty Within the Palace’, and this left Rashta upset because Sovieshu’s attention turned from her to you.
To say that she was paranoid about your true intentions would be an understatement because she has had panic attacks every night. As a result, she tried to follow you around and copy your mannerisms in the hopes that she would recapture the Emperor’s attention. But she didn’t have the heart to continue after seeing you try to help her in her mission.
What really scared Rashta was your strength. You might be stronger than any of the soldiers within the army, and you worked for the Empress as a lady-in-waiting. You were also talented with a sword, which made you almost untouchable. However, you still remained kind and humble, and it infuriated the young mistress.
The only thing that served her some comfort was when you announced to the other ladies-in-waiting (an announcement that she spied on) that you were now engaged to Kosair Trovi. She did congratulate you on your engagement and you thanked her and even pulled her into a hug. That’s when she realized that you were never out to get her: you were just trying to be kind to everyone.
Navier
You seemed to be a very capable person and thus she hired you as one of her ladies-in-waiting. You proved yourself to be a valuable asset, and she was surprised at how dedicated you were to her. But then, there was the incident where the hair coloring was washed off your actual hair color and you thought that she would fire you for lying. She did quite the opposite actually, and did not shame you. She did ask you why you hid your true self, though.
So, naturally, everything came out. You told her about how you hid your strength and actual hair color because you were afraid that no man would ever wish to marry you. Then you said your appetite was bigger than three men’s combined, and that you’ve been trying to eat a normal portion of food. At this, Navier quickly ordered more food so that you could eat more.
One day, Sovieshu came up to her and asked if you could be transferred to Rashta as her lady-in-waiting. Of course, Navier did not want to lose you, her new friend, but she was aware that it was your decision. You were loyal to the Empress, so you obviously chose to stay rather than be transferred. Plus, you knew that it was a ploy so that Sovieshu would have easier access to you.
As popular as you were, she noticed that none of the guards liked how much stronger you were than them, and she saw how that was affecting you. You were both a hopeful and hopeless romantic at heart, so this was devastating to you. So, she took advantage of her brother’s surprise visit and introduced the two of you. Kosair loved stronger women, so Navier played a bit of matchmaker and months later the two of you were engaged.
Kosair
Navier had introduced the two of you when he surprised her with a visit, and he was taken aback by your beautiful appearance. He bowed and took your hand gently in his before placing a kiss on the back of it, and your breath hitched as your heart pounded. No man had ever been so gentlemanly towards you, and you found yourself falling in love.
The two of you walked through the garden, arm in arm, as you both talked about whatever came to your minds. The night ended with a sweet kiss and fluttering hearts, and you immediately knew that you wished to see him again. So, he started sneaking you out of the palace at night so that you can have a midnight rendezvous each night. Nothing bad happened, it was mostly just him bringing you flowers every single time and little kisses being exchanged between the two of you. Sakura mochi wasn’t off the table, either.
He knew about your love for the sweet treat, and he found a shop that sold many sweets. Because of you, he was a frequent customer. He didn’t dislike it, though, considering the smile on your face whenever you noticed your favorite snack was absolutely adorable to him. He also didn’t mind your big appetite; it wasn’t something you could control, and it gave him an idea of how to spoil you.
Eventually, he came to the conclusion that he could not see himself with anyone but you, so he made the most serious purchase he has ever made before: an engagement ring. When he presented it to you, your eyes widened as he slipped it on your finger. You brought it up as tears started to gather in your eyes, and you quietly nodded yes and wrapped your arms around his neck as he picked you up and spun you around. Luckily, you were invited to the New Year’s Party a few years later, and he would get to see you once again.
Sovieshu hated the way you immediately clung to Navier the entire time. To be fair, you hadn’t seen each other in a while, and you saw her as a sister, and your husband wasn’t there, but he was there, too. You presented Her Imperial Majesty with gifts and kisses on the cheek upon arrival, and the emperor couldn’t help but be jealous. Once the disaster of a party was over, you retired to the guest chambers in which you would be staying with your butler.
Over the next few days, he tried to talk to you but Claude would always usher you away. One day, however, Rashta came to him crying about how you were mean to her and slapped her. You had a certain reputation preceding you; you were a woman who, if one was to get on your bad side, it could result in physical, emotional, mental, or financial pain… sometimes all four. Sovieshu stroked the young mistress’s hair as he warned her not to go near you again, or she could lose an eye. She had no idea you existed until the New Year’s Party. Everyone was whispering about you, and she went up to Sovieshu and asked who you were. That’s where he told her that you were Lady Trovi, wife of Kosair Trovi and his sister-in-law through his wife. You were invited due to you being the heiress and current head of the Trancy estate and wealth. She did not hear his warning not to get in your way.
A few days later, she saw you making your way to Navier’s chambers along with your butler. The young lady saw this as the perfect opportunity to befriend you, so she called you by your title and married name (‘Lady Trovi’). You turned and saw the young lady, who you assumed to be a servant who was dressed in a vibrant light blue dress. However, imagine your own surprise when she introduced herself as Sovieshu’s mistress. She asked if you were going to see “Sister Navier”, and you responded by slapping her and shouting that you were the only person who could call Her Imperial Majesty by that title.
Later that afternoon, she met with Duke Ergi, who informed her that she only dealt with a small shred of your wrath. He told her that you had actually stabbed out one of your servant’s eyes just for spilling tea on your gown. Now that Rashta thought about it, she had seen a maid with an eyepatch walking about from your guest room to other places in the palace. Maybe the upcoming dinner could be a chance to reconcile with you?
Nope. She ruined any chance of reconciliation by complaining to Sovieshu about how no one liked her because of where she came from. You were fed up with being cordial, and you stood up and slammed your hands onto the table. You threw a butter knife at her, missing her by only a little, and you started screaming about how you, too, came from nothing but you never used it as an excuse to be… for fear of getting the mature community label… a jerk. This caused everyone to stare at the mistress in disgust and disapproval, and Navier moved to hold you and walk you back to your room. Your butler followed in tow, picking up your coat that you had left behind.
Navier Trovi
She met you before the wedding, and you saw her as a sister figure almost immediately. She was the one to suggest that you change your name to Trovi, since she knew that you did not like your past but rather the things you learned from it. She enjoyed your presence as well, and she knew that if she was going to make it through the New Year’s Party with Sovieshu having a mistress, she needed you there. So, she invited you. You would be staying in the palace two months following as well.
It was unfortunate that the party went as horribly as she thought it would, but you did not discover the fact that Sovieshu had a mistress. For all you knew, Rashta was just another noble who accidentally outshined the Empress. However, a few days later, there was a loud commotion outside of her room and when she went to investigate she found your butler holding you back from attacking the mistress, who had a visible handprint on her cheek from a harsh slap. You were calling her a ‘common whore’, disgracing the way that commoners build themselves up to greatness.
The upcoming dinner was a sight to behold. You stuck by Navier’s side, as your husband, her brother, was not present yet, and she was the only one who could keep your anger in check. Claude became well acquainted with Her Imperial Majesty, and she saw the Faustian contract mark on your tongue. When you were asleep, she went to the library to do some research. Claude knew this, but he also knew that she wouldn’t say anything lest you be killed for this unholy binding.
Navier expected the dinner to be a hot mess, but it was worse than she thought it would be. Rashta was crying about how no one liked her because she used to be a commoner when you got fed up and stood up, slamming your hands on the table and quickly throwing a butter knife at the white-haired girl. It didn’t hit her, but it cut a strand of hair. Navier quickly got up and hugged you, bringing you to her chambers. Claude followed the two of you with your coat. Once there, she let you cry it all out. She knew you were a commoner originally, but you told her that you inherited the Trancy name because the original man was a pedophile and you basically seduced him. You hid everything, but you could tell that Rashta was hiding things as well, and you told your “sister” Navier.
Heinrey Lazlo
He met you at the New Year’s Party, and you were sticking close to the Empress… the woman he fell in love with and set his sight upon. He was curious as to who you were, as he was new to the Eastern Empire. You seemed a bit childish at heart, but from what he could tell you were loved by everyone. Your butler trailed not far behind you, no matter where you went. That’s when he noticed a strange mark on your tongue whenever your butler was next to you.
Anyways, there was the whole dress drama that went down, and to say he was kind of angry would be an understatement. However, you were livid. How dare Rashta compete with Her Imperial Majesty?! And she even dared to blame it on her instead of admitting that she copied her dress?! She also stated that she was the person who was receiving his letters. Heinrey could see through the lie, and Claude took note of that. The two began their suspicions towards each other, but it did not concern you nor Navier.
The dinner a few days later was a disaster, as you threw a knife at the Emperor’s mistress. You were then led by Navier to her chambers, and your butler followed closely behind with your abandoned coat. Once the coast was clear, he also followed and listened in on the conversation you were having with his Queen. To hear all of the horrors you went through was absolutely heart-breaking, and he vowed right then and there that he would protect you as he would protect a sibling.
When Kosair was exiled from the Eastern Empire, Heinrey informed you that you both could go to the Western Kingdom and seek refuge there. Your butler bowed before going to pack your things for you. You wished Heinrey luck in his endeavors, and went back to the Trovi Manor. When the whole thing with the guards happened, he noticed an elegant blur going around, and he knew it to be Claude Faustus, your butler.
Kosair Trovi
Your matrimonial union to him was arranged by Lord and Lady Trovi as well as the former head of the Trancy Manor. This infuriated you to no end, and you both clashed at first. Both parties were fearful for your future as a married couple. After one such fight, he actually realized that he was in the wrong, and he apologized by purchasing a bouquet of your favorite flowers and proposing in the traditional form. Needless to say, you both got married.
It was unfortunate that he was always out-and-about, as you did grow to love your husband. Oftentimes, you reminisce about how you told him what you went through in your childhood, and he held you as you sobbed. You felt comfortable feeling vulnerable in front of him, but other than that you just had your butler. When he did come back, however, you had another issue: Rashta, the Emperor’s mistress. From what Kosair had heard, you have been thrown into hysterics twice and almost stabbed her.
He knew there was something up with Rashta, and when he kidnapped Lord Rimwell he figured everything out. Her story matched yours a lot, but you went through significantly worse. You see, the former Head of Trancy Manor was a pedophile, and took you in with that intent in mind. You just picked up some skills and seduced the man into making you the heiress once he inevitably passed. Rashta was at least consenting in her encounter with Alan Rimwell.
Then, soon after, he was exiled from the Eastern Empire. Heinrey allowed you both to go to the Western Kingdom to escape, but one thing that you both made sure to do was to delay your own departure until Claude returned. After all, the butler was their best chance of easing their way outside of the palace because Sovieshu went yandere for whatever reason and tried to trap Navier from leaving.

He had received a letter from the Emperor of the Southern Empire and it said that they would like to send a representative from there to serve under the Empress as her lady-in-waiting, as long as they don’t interfere with their affairs with the current economic crisis within the South. Sovieshu knew that this would be an opportunity to have a peace treaty, so he made the proper arrangements and informed his wife of the situation.
Then you arrived, and everyone let out a gasp. You were absolutely beautiful, with your kimono and your hair put up. You had a bit of a procession, and as you shook hands with him you explained that you and your group would be here to serve Her Imperial Majesty, as you each had many gifts that would serve the Empire in a beneficial way. Sovieshy was completely in love, and didn’t notice the disgusted look you gave him when you caught him staring.
After you had gotten settled, you had started receiving bouquets of flowers signed ‘S.V.’ You knew that it was him trying to woo your heart over, and the very thought of it made you want to crush that repulsive little roach. However, your place within the palace and your reputation would be threatened. You did send a nicer letter back, reminding him that you were no longer an oiran and thus did not offer those services anymore. But, he didn’t take the hint somehow.
Gyutaro actually had to calm you down when Sovieshu asked you straight to your face if you would be his mistress. You were screaming and crying, calling for your brother, and a body started emerging from your own. The sight was sickening, but a few moments later a man with a horrifying appearance and no shirt was patting your head and wiping your tears. After making sure you were alright, he went up to the Emperor and pushed him back as he said that his sister would never go down to such a level as a proper lady of the court.
Rashta
She knew of your arrival, and she thought the way you dressed was both foreign and beautiful. To be fair, you were foreign, hailing from the Southern Empire. However, you brushed her off as not worth your time as a mere mistress and not the Empress. Now she knew where you stood in your relationship with her. You saw her as a mere fly on the wall rather than as a person, and she was ready to retaliate.
Whenever she went up to you in a casual manner, you would shout at her because it was improper and that she should behave like a lady rather than an excited mutt. When she started tearing up, you smiled so evilly as you stated that if she were a dog, her ears would be flat against her head in embarrassment from being insulted by someone untouchable to her. And it was true; she couldn’t take any action against you for fear of creating ill will between the Eastern and Southern Empires.
Another thing that really irked her was how Sovieshu grew infatuated with you. It was always ‘I wonder how she is’, or ‘Did you know she was the crown jewel of the Southern Empire?’ She absolutely hated it. She became invincible once again, and she constantly felt as though she was battling with you for his attention. However, you weren’t even trying. You actually hated being the object of his affections.
Everyone was present when the Emperor demanded that you become his mistress. You broke down and started crying and screaming ‘no’ and calling for your brother. Suddenly, something started emerging from your back, and it unsettled Rashta’s stomach almost immediately. She threw up, and when she looked back there was a shirtless man comforting you before pushing Sovieshu to the ground. One of the servants pulled her back and everyone aside from you let out a gasp when Gyutaro pulled a knife out and held it to His Majesty’s neck and explained with a smile that his sister said no and he should learn how to listen.
Navier
Sovieshu had informed her of the Southern Empire’s proposition, and she had received her own letter as well giving more details about you. It was a tad surprising that you were a former oiran, as she was aware of what that was. To be more accommodating, she visited the libraries around the Empire just to read more about your homeland. Once you arrived, she was taken aback by your style of clothing and your hairstyle, but she recognized that it was customary for a woman of a high position within society. Even here, it would reflect that you were one of her ladies-in-waiting.
She did her best to help you adjust to your new home, but you seemed just fine on your own. You were actually very professional, knowing where your place was. However, as much as you acted professional, you were not afraid to scold the other ladies-in-waiting whenever they did something wrong or disrespectful. You even once compared Rashta to that of a dog, and Navier knew that you were aware no action could be taken against you; the jewel and beauty of the Southern Empire.
You did seek comfort in her, much like a child does with their mother. You liked dressing her up, and she allowed you to do so whenever Sovieshu would not cease with his advances. She liked the brightly colored kimonos you had designed and commissioned for her, and the hairstyles you would put her hair into. For the rather adult occupation you had before, you acted much like a small girl behind closed doors.
However, she had never had the pleasure of meeting your brother before he was forced to comfort you after Sovieshu would not accept you rejecting him. You screamed for someone named ‘Gyutaro’, and a person started emerging from your back. Navier stepped back, and the figure lunged for the Emperor, holding a blade to his throat. You were wiping your tears and crawling to her, and she watched as her husband was fighting against who she assumed to be your brother. It was all overwhelming, but she kept herself as she knelt down and held you.
Heinrey
You were already in the palace by the time he made his appearance, and you both were onto each other. You could tell that he was a bird, and he could tell that you were something other than human. However, you both had an agreement: serve Navier and never upset her, and everything would be alright. You told him that you were a demon from the Southern Empire, but that wasn’t until much later.
Anyways, your trust in him was slim to none at the very beginning. It was only upon seeing how much he had fallen for Her Imperial Majesty where you started seeing him as an ally rather than an enemy. At the New Year’s Ball, you had told him that you knew he was the bird that had been visiting the Empress, and his eyes widened in surprise. You told him that he smelled like the crows back home, and it freaked him out.
He was actually the only one on this list who knew about the Entertainment factor of the Southern Empire, and it was mainly because of how Duke Ergi liked traveling there. He went once, and did not really enjoy it too much. It was very overwhelming, but you were probably used to that with how long you have lived there. He held a great respect for you as well, as he knew the amount of work you had put into being both a demon and an oiran.
When Sovieshu asked if you would be his mistress, Heinrey was present and at the side of Navier. You started yelling and screaming before you fell to the ground calling for your brother. Then, something emerged from your back. He pushed the Empress’s face into his chest so that she wouldn’t see the gruesome sight, but within a few seconds there was a man without a shirt who was patting your head and making sure you were alright. The softness ended, however, when he lunged for Sovieshu and held a kama to his neck. He and Navier knelt down and pulled you into their arms to try and comfort you, but you were just watching your brother at this point.
Kosair
When he first met you, he thought you were going to be like a less-subtle version of Rashta. However, he has actually seen you push her and say that she should be acting like a lady rather than a useless and pathetic mutt. You also told him about how you absolutely despised the Emperor because he kept trying to employ your services as an oiran, when he really knew that it was somewhat similar to being a mistress. You did not want Navier to go through the pain again.
Speaking of, he doesn’t really care if you were an oiran. You were still a person (demon, but he didn’t know yet), and still had a heart and a story. He loved listening to you, and you telling him about your life within the Southern Empire. It was these moments where you were vulnerable that made him actually fall for you. He wanted to protect you from the life of hardship that you suffered with your brother. Actually, your relationship with Gyutaro reminded him of his relationship with Navier.
Your brother has told you in your head that he liked this guy because he supported you and made you feel happy. The one time where you didn’t have your traditional dress and hairstyle on when you went to meet him outside of the palace, Kosair ran his hands through your hair and it was the most gentle thing you’ve felt since your brother huddled with you in that blanket so many moons ago. You leaned into his chest and thanked him for the small amount of normalcy he gives you.
The day that Sovieshu asked you to be his mistress, Kosair was there and was about to wrestle him to the ground for daring to ask that. However, you yelled and even screamed for your brother and everyone let out a gasp upon seeing the figure emerge from your back. He turned to see what was going on, and he saw a flash of green and grey before he was pushed aside and Sovieshu was on the ground, wrestling with Gyutaro. Your lover quickly made his way over to you and knelt beside you to hold you and comfort you, making sure you were alright.
