Riri is excited that Jon is coming over for movie night, it’s been a long while since the two of them have been able to really relax and she hasn’t exactly been taking it easy during her first trimester, even against everyone’s desires for her to rest and take it easy. For goodness sake she’s only barely started showing, she can still help out, her suits protected her and she made sure to only fight from range. She hears F.R.I.D.A.Y announce his arrival as she continues to set up the snacks she had post-mated over earlier while she napped. As soon as she hears his footsteps enter the living area she abandons what she’s doing and races over to him, making sure to be careful when she throws herself to forward to hug Jon. “Hi, baby.” She greets brightly before leaning into peck his lips.

“Yes, yes !! We definitely should !!” Not only because she loves ice cream and wouldn’t refuse that invitation for anything, but also because if she had to spend another hour stuck in there, she would probably go crazy. Yes, she still needed to finish a few things to show Katya later, but that could wait a while, right ?? She needed a break. “Where do you wanna go ?? There’s that place not so far from here that we went last time and i guess it a good choice, right ??”

Adam was grateful he had an outlet while staying under house arrest in the Avengers compound, even though Stark had reassured it wasn’t like that, the former assassin just rolled his eyes and stuck to his room away from everyone else. There were days the Soldier, the other entity that made its home in the back of his head and himself felt antsy to be locked away, like a caged bird yearning to be free. He didn’t belong among heroes, he didn’t deserve the welcomed treatment.

Therefore the others allowed him free reign of the training room and shooting range. it was a month under constant surveillance that they saw he wasn’t going to double-cross any of them, even if he was he wasn’t stupid to attack any of the Avengers. Besides he had enough blood hands to last a lifetime, he didn’t want to hurt anyone and neither did the Soldier. 

He enjoyed wielding dual pistols, some say he was a showoff but it was a secret he was going to carry to the grave. Once both mags were done he set the guns down when he felt the dark presence in the back of his head tense slightly, he turned his head to the right and saw a figure standing by the door. “...Didn’t think anyone was up this late...”

“I’m up!  Give me a minute.”  Abel yelled from his bed as he laughed and rubbed his temples.  A night of drinking does normally lead to a pounding headache but he was mostly tired, still.  The mutant approached the door, pulling a button-up over his shoulders after donning a pair of pajama pants.  The consistent knocking still assaulting his ears as he opened the door abruptly. “What are you doing?  Who are you?”
