A Lovestruck English Lesson 👩‍🏫: Antares ♨️, season 2, set 3

This whole season has flown by and it's been wonderful from start to finish. Brilliantly written, an engaging plot, it has surpassed the original route in my eyes.

Now if only alien MC and Antares would also get 8 seasons 😉

Let's dive into the writing:

The word choice here is so good: cashmere is soft, expensive, feels decadent against your skin. His voice is something to luxuriate in.

Look at these technical terms (and all of them perfectly authentic)!! I love when a writer really makes the extra effort to provide some realism in a route that doesn't really demand it.

Personification: humiliation can't actually strangle anything, but having it do so adds all the violence, danger and brutality of the word "strangle" to the sentence. They are in a dangerous situation and this helps set that tone.

I really liked this imagery: you have the "waves", "storm" and "lifeline", as if their illicit kiss is the only way they won't completely lose themselves in the moment, in the way they both free fall over the edge together.

I read this several times because I think it's just so pretty: the moon as a pearl and the stars diamond dust. Along with the art, it's just such a lovely comparison.

This season has been remarkable and only makes the wait for season 3 all the more difficult.

Wow, what a season! We upgraded from helmet to visor...eh, I guess I'll take that. There was a kiss somewhere along the way and some very fancy wine. We finally met MC's very sleazy ex. And the star of the show was a single seat aircraft our couple had no choice but to share.

Oh, and an ending that's leaving everyone looking for S3 👏
