Clyde calls Jimmy at horrendous hours of the morning to tell him fun facts like "Dude, you know there is a company turning dead bodies into reefs?!" And Jimmy, tired asf would just be like "Wow Clyde that is so cool, tell me about it tomorrow will ya?"
I feel like Jimmy makes Clyde more comfortable with his emotions, Clyde cries a lot, and I hc he is internally ashamed of that, but I think Jimmy comforts Clyde in a way that nurtures those emotions rather than tries to get rid of them (think of Craigs lesson in Put it Down).
Also he makes Jimmy a more emotionally open person in return.

Clyde dresses like a jock but his bf is really the athletic one and he will attend EVERY event Jimmy enters with banners and a whole freakin cheer squad.
