Starkit's Prophecy Rewrite
This story is set in the time of Squirrelstar ; after the Impostor had been defeated and the true Brambleclaw retired to be just a warrior and Squirrelstar's mate.
Starkit is NOT a Mary Sue. She does not have a prophecy centering her or any special powers at all.
Her name is Glowkit and she is grey with a white belly and amber eyes instead of purple pelted.
Her mother Dawn (Dawnsparkle) was a loner who joined ThunderClan briefly when she starts becoming ill while pregnant ; she heard that ThunderClan has medicine cats after all.
Soft-hearted Alderheart tends to Dawn's only surviving kit ; Glowkit, who was born very weak. Both Alderheart and Dawn tell her that she is very strong and brave and they spoil her.
Unable to let Glowkit see she is dying, Dawn leaves ThunderClan after Glowpaw is apprenticed to Squirrelstar who wanted to train one more apprentice before she gets too old to.
Glowpaw genuinely believes she is strong and brave and special because of all the coddling so she doesn't make an effort at all while training.
This causes her crush, Jazz (rogue she cat who joined ThunderClan as an apprentice and chose to keep her name like Millie did) to not be impressed with her and even is annoyed with her.
Glowpaw is frustated with that, thinking she is entitled to everything.
