Day-2 of the 3-Week Challenges
I went campus EVing with BDTer. She was shadowing today. I went through the 4sl again and went over the flow chart. we spotted a female student that was done eating and just leisurely on her phone. So, we prayed and approached her. She seemed nice, but kindly rejected us saying that she had class. nice.
bumped into a girl from our ministry... a girl i know to be struggling with her faith. She clearly believes in God, but is going through an..hmmm.. an actively indifferent lifestyle? AHA idk. she KNOWs everything. but she doesnt care. and IF she prays, she prays to desire to desire. mm. She was SO disinterested, she flat out said.. Grace this is taking way too long. you only just got through the first law. -___ So I decided to freestyle it. I know the contents of the tool, so i went ahead and asked questions and made it into a discussion. Ultimately, she left as hardened as she came in.
Asked the BDTer what she felt about her experience as she was shadowing me. She said... she felt like that was all waste.. like we failed or soemthing. I was so glad she said that. She also said that they seemed completely disinterested. And I'm so glad she pointed that out.
i wanted to share with her why our EV time was not a waste 1. successful witnessing is simply taking the initiative to share Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and leaving the results to God. 2. EVERYONE needs to receive the Gospel. There are people who do not believe in God who need to hear the gospel message. and there are people who DO believe in God and STILL needs to hear the gospel message. The girl that we shared with.... BELIEVES in God... but just doesn't care bout her relationship with him. ----------------------------------------------------- Had a talk with my apartment mate again. honestly, this girl always finds the WORST time to talk to me. But i didn't want to lose an opportunity to share the gospel with her....even though i witness literally every time. She just does NOT get it. lol. but even though i talk about faith and the significance in a relationship with Christ and stuff.... I dont force it on her. She would hate me and never talk to me EVER if she felt that way.
-----------------------------------------------------
Although today, the people weren't as seemingly ready to recieve the gospel message. but I did sow the seeds in the few spots i saw open. I'm just gunna leave it to God to cultivate as soon as those seeds decide to live and grow.
btw. soonjang training was good. date with friend after was good. God is good. tomorrow is a new day and HIS mercies are new every morning! I'm going to sleep now. good night.
Day-1 of the 3-week Challenge
------------------------------------------------- As most of you know, I work at Livi-SB. and I actively make that place a missions field. I pray for them, and ask them if I can pray for them... and they ALL know that I am a Jesus freak.
The head of all the student managers where I work came up to me today and asked if I was in KCCC and asked what role I had there. I had just started my 15-min. break and my food was waiting for me outside, but I decided to share what KCCC and its vision and mission was about.
She shared briefly about her recent spark of inspiration to search for...more(?) haha. well. she told me about her Catholic background and how she went to mass just as a routine, but without any real heart. [very similar to a lot of kids now a days]
She had thought KCCC was exclusive to protestant Christians, which helped pave a way into a brief sharing about the differences and similarities between Catholics and Protestants.
I got the chance to share with her law 4.... that salvation comes by grace through faith, not by works.
--------------------------------------------------- And so with that, I took the opportunity to invite her to KCCC lg so that she can learn more about Christ by the hearing of the Word and gathering of a fellowship of believers. She was heavily interested.
>> I knew her for 6 months now... and although i share openly about my faith in my work place, no one ever responds. That is why, i know for SURE, that this was God's doing. THIS is what i call a "divine appointment." And I don't doubt that today's brief 15-min conversation will be used by God to cause a lifelong relationship with Christ.
I just simply took the initiative.. to SHARE Jesus Christ.. with the POWER of the Holy Spirit.. and now I am leaving ALL the results to God. NOW IS THE TIME TO PRAY FOR THIS. HELP ME LIFT THIS SISTER UP IN PRAYER!! =D
